Then same rolls but I want to take that new spear I made to shadowslide directly over top of the two-headed beast and drop onto its head, driving the spear through its skull using the additional velocity of my fall.

Slip slowly opens her eyes and sees the beast getting ready to attack. Still groggy, she stays behinds the ice wall and prepares to dodge...

Wow - 8 dice and not a single match; she is still a bit out of it.  Setting the two wiggles to 10 for three 10s to dodge.

OOC: That's okay. Your character might not actually know that. I flew into the air as a pit fiend, turned invisible and then a wavy, snake-like thing appeared out of thin air and dropped on the T-Rex.

Heres what happens
Chromatic sends a blinding blast of nanites at the head thats opening its mouth ready to engulf Slip.  It hits and the head shrinks back, more in shock than pain, the blinding has it disoriented.  Wraith takes the opportunity to port to slip grab her and port back to chromatic where he applies some healing nanites to wake their limp ally up.

Heres what happens
As the two toothy jaws open you feel all the heat being pulled from the air around you, then you see a small yellow ball building in front of the mouths.  The small ball quickly grows and ignites.  Instincts kick in and Chromatic has a chilling wall up guarding his allies, and as slip comes too she immediately crouches low ready to spring out of the way. 

As the fireball leaves the beasts mouth and crashes into the chill wall Wraith takes the opportunity to go on the offence and appears above its head, spear poised for a deadly blow.

The big lizard roars in rage as the fireball does nothing and suddenly falters, it looks around groggily obviously confused. (Shifts paralyse will take 4 success's from the dinos next attack).

The lizard will snap up at Wraith as she falls with one head and try clawing the snake away.

Chromatic takes advantage of the dino's confusion and strikes at it with a shocking whip.

I'm in mid-air so it's either attack or slide out. I have a job to do.

I drop toward the lizard's head with my spear, hoping my allies can distract the best before I become an hors d'oeuvre.
