Say congrats to the owner of a new Kinect! My wife gave it to me early (she gave it to me Monday, even though my b-day's not until Friday) because of the blizzard.

Of course, we've been limited in how much we can USE it, since we're both wiped out from shoveling, but still...woohoo!

Happy Birthday, Greyman24!!

Ghost samurai and cyborg ninjas should be along with a cake for you shortly.  If they do not arrive, it's Slappy's fault (at least that is what Navarre said..  although he did have a few crumbs on his lips when he said it....   wait...).   Cheesy

This calls for some They Might Be Giants Lyrics:

You're older than you've ever been
And now you're even older
And now you're even older
And now you're even older
You're older than you've ever been
And now you're even older
And now you're older still
Time is marching on
And time is still marching on
This day will soon be at an end
And now it's even sooner
And now it's even sooner
And now it's even sooner
This day will soon be at an end
And now it's even sooner
And now it's sooner still
You're older than you've ever been
And now you're even older
And now you're even older
And now you're even older
You're older than you've ever been
And now you're even older
And now you're older still

That's one of my favorite songs.

Well, lessee...my wife surprised me with a Kinect and 3 games. You know, I'm not an early adopter, but I have to say the Kinect is genuinely awesome.

She also cooked me a roast pork dinner (one of my faves) and made me eclaires from scratch (custard and everything!). My mother SHIPPED me a huge box of cookies, too. I mean, when I say a huge box, imagine a box that is 2ft tall by about 18 inches long and 12 inches wide...THAT big.

It's a good thing we got that Kinect...

Just have to make sure something like this doesn't happen...

Unless it is Justin Bieber.   Then I hope you DO nail him with an elbow to the face.   Grin

Sounds like you got a really good haul for your birthday!!

We both have twins, a boy and a girl, born in November. My son is obsessed with Star Wars.

As self-indulgent as it may be to post about your own birthday, it also helps bump this thread for other folks. So:

Today, August 15th, is my birthday.

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since we were posting about it in this same thread. Good times at the Major Spoilers Forum.   Smiley
