If I was to give Faerun any Trait, it would be Focused...

haha

Farsighted. That's funny. These aren't very useful, I think.

I like Quick but, man, that is a hell of a penalty.

I'm thinking on where to take Bed as far as Feats go. I think anything I decide to take should later build off itself in future Feats.

Maybe Ride if it goes that direction, but building up to Whirlwind Attack may be fun, and he can always focus on the Ranged stuff, I'm just not sure how much that is really going to help with the weapons he has.

If he runs the BM thing out to 10 levels that leaves 4 open levels before 20 and I was thinking Fighter levels would grant any Feats I may want when that time comes. Maybe another PrCl or other basic class levels should they present themselves and the perks are attractive.

Just for the sake of posting where I'm at now with my character build plans... not that it's changed much Smiley

Level 7 = Monk 7
Level 8 = Master Thrower 1
Level 9 = Ninja 1 + Weapon Specialization (Shuriken) = Sudden Strike 1d6
Level 10 = Ninja 2
Level 11 = Monk 8
Level 12 = Monk 9 + Ranged Weapon Mastery (Piercing)
Level 13 = Monk 10
Level 14 = Monk 11
Level 15 = Monk 12 + Rapid Shot?
Level 16 = Ninja 3 (Sudden Strike 2d6)
Level 17 = Ninja 4
Level 18 = Ninja 5 (Sudden Strike 3d6)
Level 19 = Ninja 6
Level 20 = Ninja 7 (Sudden Strike 4d6)

I might want to jiggle some of the ninja levels in sooner than the monk levels depending on when I get stuff in each class, but this is the basics. I end up with Monk 12 / Ninja 7 / Master Thrower 1. Still a couple of later feats to decide.

wait, so no exotic weapon master to give you (can take 1 each level of this class, has 3 levels):
  • Close-Quarters Ranged Combat: shuriken attacks at 5ft without provoking
  • Ranged Disarm?

All you need is 3 ranks of weapon crafting to take it. ...I really like the thought of you just punching someone then throwing a shuriken at someone...or throwing a series of shuriken right into someone's face at point point blank range.

I'd rather have the higher amount of Sudden Strike, and I don't want to sacrifice any monk levels because Monk 12 is the first level I have both the maximum extra FoB shots and Abundant Step...

Hmmm... these are the only substitutions that I can think of to replace it then.

Elusive Dance: Perform (dance): 5 ranks; During your action, you may designate an opponent who may not make Attacks of Opportunity against you
Defensive Archery: Point Blank Shot: +4 bonus to AC vs. Attacks of Opportunity provoked when you make a ranged attack.

I'd rather have the higher amount of Sudden Strike
or you could just replace Ninja 6 with Rogue 1, adding Sneak Attack 1d6.

Ninja is a badass class.

I like Master Thrower too.

Scout's Skirmish ability and Warsong's Shift ability sounds like a win Smiley

I like the Dungeon Specialist Variant. At level 3 you gain a half land speed climb speed and can fight with light weapons while climbing.

IDK; We haven't had as many chances for a Climb speed to eclipse extra base speed.

In a dungeon? Oh hell yeah. But Bedlor is slow Smiley Relatively.  With his base land speed, not..NVM

Heh: "At 16th level and higher, a ninja can see invisible and ethereal creatures as easily as she sees material creatures and objects." Gosh I sure wish I had that power Wink

A ninja of 7th level and higher can climb at her speed as a move action with no penalty. So T'Ning can do the "run up a tree, drop on your head, DR away the damage to himself meanwhile killing you" trick Smiley

Still foggy on Warsong throwing and I'd rather put it here, seems to fit better.

Warsong is so badass Bed can throw it twice because of its speed.

Is this not counted as a Full-Round Attack?

Is the BaB at the highest one, or is the effect part of the fact of having 2+ Base Attacks? If the latter, can Warsong be thrown as many times as has BaB (or 'haz' Bab)?

trying to wrap my head against specifics. I think I have the multi-throw down too, once the Base is figured out.

I took it as just being able to use Warsong on all of your base attacks, ie, it's a full-round thing. But obviously I'm not the one to answer, so I don't know why I'm bothering to Wink

PHB, page 140. A character who gets multiple attacks due to a high BAB must use a full-round action to do so.

So you can make the number of throws your BAB chart indicates, all with Warsong, as long as you don't take more than a 5-foot step. Each throw would take the progressively lower BAB.

The 10-foot shift is still a free action though so Bedlor can actually cover 15 feet of ground and still get his attacks.  Smiley
