I'll give you my opinion on it after I finish reading one of the volumes.

Only history book I've ever read was Crossfire: The Plot that Killed Kennedy.  Anything that deals with the Kennedy Assassination I've read/watched/studied at least once, if not twice. I'm what they call obsessed.

Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have drank my fair share of whiskey among other deliciousness.  We shall see.

Oh, very nice! Ever read anything about George H.W. Bush's involvement, excuse me, evidence that points to his involvement, in that assassination? Cold War history is one of my big faves, but with all the conspiracy theories out there its hard to find a real grasp on that whole thing. Prolly the way they want it Smiley But its all a theory of some sort until the truth is found. The term "conspiracy theory" gets such a bad rap.

Isn't anybodies idea on a subject, that isn't proven true by fact, a conspiracy theory? In reality it seems to work that way. It's been a bit since I've read about that but I do recall having read it. Granted I recall little about it, I still recall it.  Tongue

A scientific theory is an idea that has been proven to be true over and over but cannot be confirmed as a law for reasons out of human control to really know. Like evolution. We know it happens, but cannot prove that it happened a billion years ago. But everything that is brought up fits within the theory of evolution, so it hasn't been disproved.

A conspiracy theory just means more than a couple of people know about the thing and are hiding the real truth for some reason. I think as far as JFK goes there is some strong evidence to show things may have happened differently than the reports but there is no proof. Since its a crime not science, things just don't work that way. Plus the gubment is hiding it from us with the aliens and bigfoot and the next Half-Life game Wink

I have dreams that the Nintendo press conference nears its close, and here comes Gabe Newell...to announce that Steamworks is coming to WiiU (or whatever they will call it) and Half-Life 3 will be a launch game on Nintendo's next console.

Take my money, NOW!!

I really don't know enough about history. It's one thing I really need to change. All I know is usually related to architects and buildings.... and comics

Its Thursday, guys.

Nav's always MIA on Thurs nights

True Facts. I am always out every Thursday from mid-afternoon until the night. I often don't get back to the game that night.

I turn 24 today

Happy Birthday, Eothr!!  Smiley

Did you ever decide if you are playing in the game or not? I think we've lost one player and picked up another just since you've been gone.

Also..the +4 to morale that T'Ning has, does that get added on to critical verification rolls?

Yes. Yes, it does. You make the Crit Confirmation with all the bonuses used on the roll that made the Threat in the first place.

I will resolve your action when I return to the game. Good attack you did there!  Cool

I need to do some work on my own campaign. I was thinking about just using the DnD 3.5 gods just to save time (oh how Nav would frown on such a thing)

I will beat you, son. I will get on my horse, ride to Tennessee, and beat you severaly about the head and shoulders until you stop talking such nonsense.

Now go to your room and start making deities!  Tongue

What [is] everyone doing this weekend?

Well, I did have a three day weekend with my girlfriend planned. But I had an e-mail waiting when I got home this evening. Her grandmother just died of heart failure.  Sad

I'm sorry to hear that for her. That's sad.

I haven't talked to her yet so I don't know all the details. It is most likely that I won't see her this weekend.

Therefore I will be spending the three day weekend alone. If that is the case then I should be around to keep up with the game fairly well.

But I'm not going to worry about the holiday as far as the game goes because I expected people to be out a lot. So if you post I'll reply and we'll see where it all goes.

My girlfriend is majoring in History. Apparently there was a past human history that didn't involve Gary Gygax or Stan Lee.

I was shocked to learn of this.

Nice! She taking a teaching cred with it or going a different route? I'm planning to start on the same degree after the summer.

She'd like to eventually teach History to adults at the university level. But she isn't pursuing an Education degree. So she might work toward that over time by gaining real-world experience.

She wants to be Lara Croft.  Smiley

Thanks Nav!

I'd like to, honestly, but I'm having some trouble building the character. I guess I just gotta hunker down and build him as best I can...
