I will leave the answer to T'Ning's RP references to sab. He can pick what he feels best represents T'Ning.

probably somewhere in those awesome chapters we lost (sigh)

If he doesn't reply I will find you something.

As for redheads, oh yeah.   Smiley

T'Ning is 17 yrs old and his girlfriend, Rachel Kimbler, is 15 (legal age of adulthood in my world). So they are young, impetuous, and in love. awwww

I'm heading out for a bite to eat then I'm expecting some friends to visit. But I'll be around at some point soon. My post count demands it.

By the way, T'Ning used to be a gnome and now he's human. Rachel used to be a half-elven race called the Kaazradi but now they are called the Vaadjori.

... Yeah, Chapter 69 created an entire alternate universe for the characters. I wasn't expecting it either.

Buckle up, it's a bumpy ride.  Wink

back later

Hm, the ones that spring to mind are all Rachel-based, naturally.

An Evening Among Friends is my personal favorite chapter of the whole game, but it doesn't have much by way T'Ning doing the completely unexpected, and it's based on a lot of character development that had happened first.

There was the bit where she was showing me her roguey-tricks in West Wellington and I managed to get a perfect bluff roll that made her furious at me. Don't remember the chapter title on that one.

Oooh... and then the scene at Heart of Gods with the epic tree-dive.

I could come up with a bunch more but those are the ones that spring to mind first as good T'Ning-based RP.

The more you think back on it, the more you want to keep playing T'Ning, right?  Wink

Yeah, I dunno either. Lutharian, may as well just grab a chapter somewhere between 1 and 65 and start reading.

How to play T'Ning:

1- Think carefully about the best plan for staying alive.
2- Do the opposite of the plan from Step #1.
3- If you survive, have sex with girlfriend.
4- Repeat.

Heh. Yeah. Well, welcome to Shadow War.

The character dynamic is the best thing about this game, imo. Who needs plot when you have dysfunctional group dynamics like this?

That's not quite it. It's more:

Look at all the choices of what makes sense to do in the situation.
Rule them all out as having too much downside.
Do something else entirely.
Repeat.

And an element that has a character happy about losing the best item in the game Wink

Surely the king of the dwarves twin can get a cool weapon.

And the sex. Don't forget that. No downside with Rachel there.  Wink

That wasn't the reaction I was first expecting from Bedlor, yet it fits so well from him. I expected him to continue shouldering the burden, but I suppose he feels Warsong made that choice for him, eh?

I sure never planned on that hammer leaving his possession. Interesting to see how this plays out.

lol

We joke about T'Ning, but he was amazingly fun; his Shakespearean death has to be the brightest part of his life IMO.

Yes Dubya made his choice, and Bedlor is merely assuming that after his moment with Moira that the World Spirit has a hand in that, pushing him in a certain direction; almost back to pre-Warsong/straight out o' The Pass attitude.

He sees this current war as a war between gods; no big deal as far as Bed is concerned, let them fight, not his problem. But he's got buddies to chill with, a chick to mack on, and West Wellington (with the finest tobacco in the land) just an angel slaying away. Its Miller-time!!

That may mean Tren is "leading" things, but I think that's quite all right and, like I said, Bedlor just here for the ride now.
