It's the DnD equivalent of "Hey look, the goodyear blimp!"

Heh Heh. My PC does that as a joking in-game comment all the time.

... It never works.

If people could Bluff themselves into instant invisibility then that would be awesome although it kind of ruins the "Hide in Plain Sight" powers Rangers and Shadow Dancers wait an entire campaign to possess.

If you can give me a half-decent bluffing distraction I'll consider it.

Holding on the "Fash and Tren" chapter pending Tren's action.

Still this.

Eothr, I hope you get your PC built soon and your computer issues subside. Looking forward to you joining us.

I'm out of here for the entire day though due to my irl game. So y'all post as you can and I'll check in as soon as possible.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Sorry, I completely missed that I had email responses last night because I forgot to check that tab. And I just got out of bed this morning.

I went to see that movie you recommended. It was good but kinda depressing at the end.

T'Ning's actions depend on what everyone else in the group is doing. If people are reacting startled at all then there's probably some degree of moving back and forth, T'Ning would just try to move back and forth in such a way as to pass behind someone and never come out the other side cos he ducked out of sight.

Okay, I'll buy that as a Bluff. I'll work on that tomorrow then.

You mean "Chronicle"?

Well, yeah, that's part of why it's so great. This isn't some feel-good Hollywood film where the average joe steps up to his destiny and becomes the hero and all of that.

Even though that element is there, I find it to be an excellent and realistic focus on the psychosis that makes the villain. If it hadn't been for all my Captain America comics I would have become that person (if I'd had super powers, of course).

Watching the film was almost like watching a documentary of my own life except, y'know, I can't fly. So I found it incredibly poignant and relatable...which scared the hell out of me.

The line between hero and villain; it's really so very thin.

Yet your biggest dream for the majority of life has been to fly...

I have finally leveled up. I'm sorry it took so long. While the tornadoes did not damage my personal belongings, it did move through three different regions where I have employees... and they had damage to their homes and we had small damage to three of our work locations, so I've basically been a nervous wreck. At one point I had a truck driver that we couldn't locate during one of the tornadoes, but he had pulled over to help a lady who's car had died and she had children in the car. All ended up safe.

How's everyone else been? Also, welcome to our newcomer. Smiley

Oh, and Navarre, I would like to keep the leadership feat. It's just party of Liv's personality.

We can keep the Leadership feat. No problem. Glad you're back.

And, yeah, I would love to fly almost more than anything. But reality is what it is.

I can still wear the cape around the house, right?  Wink

Just command "your men" to kill the Elves and be done with it. It's what a proper Lord Commander would do.  Wink

Meanwhile, I slept in until almost noon. I enjoyed that.

Henceforth, I will tell my clients I have moved to the pacific islands. That way I can sleep in four extra hours every day.

I woke up at 5 and couldn't get back to sleep for a while, then went back to bed and stayed there til noon myself Smiley

Am I right that our intention was to stay entirely within Gallia and not pass through any forests that are in Elven territory?
