As sab pointed out, Blackthere doesn't have red hair. He should.

I also can't do fine detail well at all. So the red runes look crappy.

{Yeah...a 1 shot extra transport that can be used to take us anywhere in the world, and we use it to take us home.   Faerun can drag 4 people home with the bracelet...}

{Also the tower is likely warded against normal teleport...}

I'm not sure what you're suggesting... I'm suggesting this - changes from current plan bolded.

Is it really true that Greater Teleport is more powerful than Nexus-shift? Cuz... that's not how it seems to me.

Also, I think, we can do it with one GT scroll plus the locket thingy. Faerun uses the scroll to take himself and four others home. Then he uses the locket to bring the remaining four along with him.

Greater Teleport is a Teleport with no range.

We could do the bracelet hop...that could work. That saves 1 scroll. Lets see if we can get a scroll from the church.

Yeah but doesn't Nexus-shift also have no range limit? You can jump to a whole different universe or any plane of existence... it'd be a bit odd to say you can go to Laukordia or Sacrosanct or Mandrinvale or the Faerie Kingdom or Sabbathyr or to the smouldering remains of Absynthia but you can't go a mere few thousand miles on Asherea...

... or that you can transport a building or a moon but the more powerful spell can't transport more than four Medium-sized characters with you.

No Teleport spell holds a candle to a Nexus shift. The latter, as near as you can tell, seems to be limited only by the experience, focus, and power of the Nexus in question.

Faerun isn't in the Moonshadow's league (yet?) but he can do some good things with that shift ability.

Also, replies using the Whispers will be coming in teal font, just to distinguish it.

Not talking game, but more story,

Anyone else see the feasibility of Faerun being madly attracted to Bron?

I don't know Faerun as well as a character, maybe, and I in no way think he is out to get anyone (I mean, that's where the drama is) but I could so see him being attracted to her in a way only a Nexus of his level of education could.

Just commenting out loud n a story everyone is writing brilliantly.

Bed is down on going where ever we think is best. Honestly, he doesn't mind waiting on Kallum's Hold. Although I don't know anyone there Smiley Bedlor surely does and he sort of left kind of disgraced. He'll step up when he needs to but anything that puts it off won't bother him at all...although he probably wouldn't admit it.

I'm sure the same sort of thing will begin happening as all the characters head to their "home" (although Bed's home is quickly becoming where ever the group is), and I'm hoping for some killer RP out of it.

Game info clues and strategy is very fun and awesome and all, but I think we have a good chance to get some good roleplaying in on a personal level for the characters

I was telling sab the other day how much I wish I could have had a prelude chapter for each PC before the campaign started. It would have really given the players more to work with. It also would have brought the game full-circle, as I tried to do with the return to West Wellington.

But I guess the Forest Falls chapters were still good for Chrysalis, and Liv, so hopefully the same will hold true for the rest of you.

As for Faerun and Bronwyn, I could totally see it happening if Metz took the RP for Faerun that way. But I think he's had enough trouble getting together with the sweet girl who adores him, let alone the vampire sociopath Nexus who may be tearing the universe apart just by existing.

Still, I'd like to see that story unfold just for the sake of exploring it, even though I don't expect it will. You guys have uncovered far more than I thought you would in the last two chapters and turned the plans of your opponents upside-down.

You are in possession of story elements I didn't expect you to have until maybe around Level 15. So right now I'm trying to make sure we actually get a 20 level campaign out of this thing.

I think Metz could pull it off, but I'm not forcing anything, just chiming in on the story elements of the game.

I think T'Ning taking over the Temple would be something too...I just don't know enough about the Temple to have an opinion...a prelude chapter would help that, but oh well.

And I'm sure you can stretch or give us something above and beyond what you originally had in mind to get us to 20...and I hate the idea of stopping Sad

And you could always throw us some extra XP for being so badass in screwing with your original plans Smiley

Already done, my friend. I reward excellence.   Cool

I had mentioned to sab that I would like to write a campaign for the Faerie Kingdom. I know it's possible you could go there but it would be more as part of the overall plot of this campaign. I'd like to see it as the setting for a whole new campaign.

... But, hey, you guys will have to have something to do after you save Ashearea and hit 21st Level, right?

Hell yeah!

And its your world. If its part of the campaign you could make it an "out of time" sort of deal where we are doing things outside of what is happening where we are currently. Either way, I'm sure it will be awesome.

Sort of like the end of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey

Sure. I have run some campaigns though where the PCs are such high level that it gets ridiculous trying to write a challenging story for them.

I mean, heck, look at you guys. You're 3-4 levels below Master Landru yet you're practically gods among men.

The power advancement, in the wild epic sense that has gone on so far, may settle down some. I think it's more important to focus on the story than to keep loading you up with abilities and such. But you are who you are and, let's face it, you're awesome. (no Miz reference, Gaumer. heh)

sab made an interesting observation about how much I like sociopathic characters in film and television. My favorite character in any movie or show or book, it seems, it the sociopathic one (or at least the one who is dangerous due to their perspective on everything).

Bronwyn has appeared in several of my former campaigns. After all, she's god-level and has been in all my other universes. She has always been my favorite NPC.

Now it seems Rachel has won me over. Yet the similarities between them are a little frightening, really.

So if T'Ning stays with Rachel and Faerun hooked up with Bronwyn; that's just too scary.
