You can try. You have to make a melee touch attack on them. Then, if it succeeds, they get a Will save. if the touch succees and the Will save fails, you can teleport them as you would yourself.

Isn't everyone flat-footed the first round until they take an action? PHB p.133 How Combat Works
I don't think we do this, which doesn't matter at all for anyone except a character that gets perks for flat-footed targets. Just curious to the rules use since I think it would make a huge difference for the first round for some classes.

According to the rules, yes, everyone is flat-footed until their first action for the round. You are also correct that I have failed to do this. I didn't understand the rule when we first started the game and since then I have simply kept it consistent.

Ah, NP, as usual, just curious. As I read the books questions flow in and out. Then they pop back in when in-game context reminds me. EDIT: BTW, this scene with Tren doing his thing as Bedlor does his has been freaking awesome!

Wow, thanks. I think things are starting to come to a head in this chapter and the game itself. We'll see how it plays out. The epic work of Bedlor, stepping up to everything for which he seems destined, combined with Tren's dark passion for justice, is making it all happen. I'm just kind of writing around you guys right now, which is fantastic. Damn Pontiff Rashai though. She's trying to pull that 23 Wisdom of hers over Bedlor's 18.

Heh Heh
Bedlor's stickin' in to Pontiff Rashai. Bet she's not used to someone questioning "Her Radiance" like that.

I'm heading out for a while to enjoy the evening. I'll try to post later. I feel like Lutharian and Liv have given up on us until a battle starts. I know they've both been busy though. Gaumer: Last of the original PCs?

I meant "Players", not "PCs". ... I've heard a rumor that Gaumer is real. I'll be back later.

This is better than a NATO Summit. I have a phone call to make. Seems this whole "girlfriend" thing is cutting into my playing time. I should just marry her. That way she'll never talk to me...or at least I'll probably stop listening.

Thanks for the subtle warning Nav. Hehe.
I wonder if I could pull this off.

Tren sternly looks into the mans mind and modifys the last few moments of it.
"You remember Maldomkins warning of the demon from the grey realm as well as the new demon deeming himself the watcher of all. Even the gods. You saw a monk come from the shadows and warn your other follower of the demon.
You confronted the man who called the warning only to see that this man was the demon in disguise. You managed to escape as the plan must be delayed simply due to the demons meddling could cause everything to fail. Maldomkin must know you decide and you attempt to escape immidately."
Could you clarify that last sentence, please?

Sure no problem.
"You confronted the man who called the warning demanding his name. You realised as he turned that this was the demon in disguise. You felt the plan must be delayed with this unforseen problem. The demon medling in your plan could ruin everything. You decide to allow the plan to stop and escape to go tell Madolkim."
