It was worth the wait.

I hope T'Ning gets a good Initiative roll next round.

As do I. For being a ninja-monk he sure is slow on the draw.

I imagine him standing in the fight while everyone else battles around him. His hands draw forth his glowing shuriken, seemingly from nowhere.

He stands for a few seconds, head bowed, as the energy of his Raez-Zhir crackle across his clenched fists; the points of stars barely visible as they slip between his fingers.

Then, in a single blur of motion, T'Ning rains magical steel into his enemies. The air sizzles with a flurry of furious light as the monk ejects a cascade of brilliance into his unsuspecting enemy.

As the Raez-Zhir return to their master's hand, their tips now red with the blood of the fallen, T'Ning bows his head once more. Anyone who may still possess the composure to study his down-turned face may witness the vaguest hint of a satisfied smile.

As the blazing shuriken return unerringly to the monk's hand, his enemy struggles to shrug off the assault. He shakes his head, his ears ringing, then barely gathers himself.

"I'm okay!" he begins to call to his villainous comrades.

*Kuh-RraNGG!*

The hapless monster falls dead, sliding slowly down the vertical length of Tren's tower shield.

She'd like to eventually teach History to adults at the university level. But she isn't pursuing an Education degree. So she might work toward that over time by gaining real-world experience.

She wants to be Lara Croft.  Smiley

That's my plan. Not being a tomb raider, but teaching college. But its a long way off, and teaching High School should make me work a lot faster at getting the master's needed to teach college. Its an easier path in TN if I teach HS for a little while: they pay for some of the extra schooling; have online option for master's programs, etc. Pretty cool!

But, yeah this battle is really fun!

You guys were long overdue for a good battle, I know. I've been lazy with the game for months.

It is much easier to get a university teaching position if you have a Master's and/or public school teaching experience. My girlfriend doesn't plan on teaching in public school but may go the Master's route if she has to. She's hoping to rely on real world work experience to eventually get her noticed.

Besides, my girlfriend was home schooled. After that, why set foot in a public classroom?  Roll Eyes
