Spider-Man is still trying to headbutt Wolerine

You should start a thread called "Anti-Hero Super Team". I am not sure what it has to do with saving Kitty but, whenever she is saved, I guarantee Wolverine will be on the cover.

All I was doing was continuing the discussion of leaders that this post had drifted into and had nothing to do with this post.

So saving Kitty.  It will probably involve the teams that are actually keeping her thought alive like Astonishing X-Men and S.W.O.R.D.  However neither team have any really powerful members, they have the smarts, but not the power to save her.  Seeing as S.W.O.R.D is in trouble at the moment and may need saving itself.  However don't forget the defenses of the bullet that causes all the powerful to slip into a powerful day dream that can not be broken until the bullet passes.  So the Sentry, Silver Surfer or Quasar are out of the picture.  Then you have the problem of the bullet how do you save kitty without destroying a planet.

However like a few of you have already said will Marvel leave it until they can come up with a BIG way to bring her back or when they want to come up with a shock reveal.  Say Kang was attacking earth and to fight the X-men he brought out the Kitty card.

THIS IS WHAT THE POST SHOULD HAVE LOOKED LIKE

Well as far as the thread taking a dive into buying Marvel and Wolverine as a leader...It wasn't me I just extended it a little Grin

heh, no worries. I derail worse than a greased wheelbarrow going downhill. (yeah, I have no idea what that means)

We don't know how Kitty will return yet but I haven't seen that it will be all that hard to accomplish. But that worries me even more because Marvel will make this some sort of major event, leading me to fear that her return will actually be the herald of something bad instead of the joy one such as I would hope for.

I take full responsibility kill kitty for the Hijacking of the thread.  It was not my intention to do so, Kill kitty but since I did, It has  a fun ride.  I merely tried to impress Kill Kitty upon my fellow geeks nerds and KILL Kitty Larpers etc... the value of fatal death in this medium.
Kitty is a character I thought was ok for about 5 seconds, especially in Excaliber, but seems to be another X-hanger-on that has not developed much for my tastes in years.  KILL KITTY and we will miss her for 5 seconds.  When the next big event comes along followed by the next big event, We will follow the characters involved there.  Look at Hank Pym, he hasn't been relevent for years.
By the way
KILL KITTY!!!!!
Bwahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!

Maybe she learns to steer the bullet and swings back around to kill all the ungrateful a-holes who didn't come rescue her

Maybe.

Seriously, was a legitimate reason ever even given why they didn't at least get the bullet out of outer space?

It's not just the fact that no one is trying to save her but except from Colossus (maybe Navarre) no one is reeling mourning her or even planning a rescue.

I also just had an idea, Magneto is now an X-Man get him to rip the bullet open.

I think Brand explained it in S.W.O.R.D issue #1

That's funny

Yeah, Brand went into all sorts of crazy science of why they couldn't get her out.

I have not read SWORD #1. I guess I missed that. That's a shame because I've been kinda torqued that everyone seemed so "oh well" about Kitty being stuck in space.

It's part of the reason I've been on such a crusade. Someone needed to help her and it didn't seem anyone really tried.

But I guess that's going to work out soon. *removes ceremonial mourning shroud*

Yes. It's definitely what I am hoping for.

In fact, my friend, if you will go back to this very thread and read it you will see that we have been discussing this for some time now. ... But thanks for the well-intentioned effort.

Still thinking about this bullet, if it was capable of mentally incapacitating every hero on Earth doesn't that kind of make the Breakworld a threat of cosmic proportions? While I'm wondering why no one saved Kitty after the fact, I am also wondering why the top priority of every informed character isn't to do something about this situation.

Having her return from "not death" will make for a great issue and some intriguing follow-up issues.

Having her die will only mean she will return in 2 years or less as part of some company-wide event where you'll buy 7 titles you don't normally buy and a bunch of special issues on top of that.

I think you'll be better off to let her semi-quietly return and let Marvel life go on.

We'll see about that. I hope so, but they've brought characters back and it made no real impact beyond besides THAT character being back.

Let me also say that I had an instance the other day in a book that involved a lost mutant. In X-Factor: X-Nation all growed up Layla Miller and the rest go to see Scott on Utopia and blah blah blah. Anyways, Scott is all like, "Who's this I don't think we've met" to Layle and then is all surprised its her and is all "How was the post-apocalyptic future?"...

WTF?? I feel bad for these guys if people go stranded so often that its THIS nonchalant!! So I figure Kitty comes back and reminded that its her night to do the dishes Smiley
