I can't say I'm seeing much in it that grabs me. I'm not a fan of Coheed & Cambria at all ("Look guys- it's Rush with a generic metal sound and a worse singer that's trying to sound poetic!"), and the art is... well interesting for what it is I suppose.
And while I disagree with Rodrigo's assessment of music in comics such as Scott Pilgrim (the musical elements led to some of my favorite moments of the book, but that may just be that I'm a music buff), I think that when it gets to the point where only people who are really into music can appreciate it, there's a major problem in limiting your audience.
And I can't really think of a single example of when I enjoyed a writer writing about themselves.
