Honestly I'd like to see a review of "The Spirit."  I know most people hate it, but darn it, I thought it was some good old fashioned bad movie fun.

I'd be fine with The Spirit. It falls in the same category as Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow and The Phantom, all of which I enjoyed.

The Phantom

Lol, I only ever saw that once, and it was whenever it was released in theaters with my dad, I don't remember a thing about it other then "YEA I KILLED HIM LOOK AT THIS"  its a black sash with a hole in it.  I'm like............ well I could get that (I don't remember how young I was then, but I couldn't of been that old.

The Phantom had that Saturday matinee feel to it. It was fun for what it was intended to be.

It also had Kristy Swanson and Catherine Zeta-Jones in it. Can't complain about casting like that.

I remember watching Zoolander and Billy Zane had a random cameo. I was like, "Yeah, there's the Phantom!"

Zoolander...Now there's a movie worth reviewing.  Grin

I've all been about posting love on my message posts so now it's time to Hulk out!

I HATE Zoolander.  SMASH PUNY UNFUNNY ZOOLANDER !

It's that kind of movie,  always referenced by friends and work colleagues alike (Blue steel ?? ha ha)  - I sat down , watched it and just didn't get it. (Same with Napolean Dynamite).

I managed 20 minutes of it before stopping it and ejecting it.  I don't know it was because people had built it up and it could never the expectations set or it's just my taste but I find I react the same to most Ben Stiller comedies (with the exception of Mystery Men).
Zoolander's stupid...models are stupid....i get it -the character just annoyed me.

I want to like Ben Stiller and there's always good ideas to his movies (eg tropic thunder) , but I feel he never reaches his potential.

I really haven't liked a single one of Ben Stiller's movies...except Zoolander. I was laughing hysterically the entire time and I generally don't like such humor.

But, hey, to each their own.

Have you reviewed "Pootie Tang"?

Nope. Do I want to? Yes. I'll add it to the list, and once I find some serious "writing time," I'll start cranking out the reviews again.

The Hitman ~ you might also put on your list The Dead Zone movie from the '80s.  I watched it yesterday with my wife and it was a really good movie for something done in the early 80s and the premise is an age old questions.  If nothing else I would just recommend it for those of you with Netflix.  You can streaming directly to your computer.
