as you may have noticed we've been having a lot of problems with Spammers lately. If you see a link by someone who's brand new to the forums (check their post count) don't click on it.

and to you new guys to the forums, I guess get your post counts up before you start posting links, that's how we can tell whether you are a person or some kind of machine that manufactures e-lunchmeat.

if you catch a spam post hit the 'notify' button.

also, if you are going to join the Major Spoilers Forum you might want to come up with a name that doesn't sound like spam. Maybe Wahoohoodofus was your nickname in college, but spambots frequently use weird stuff like that.

On a related note, so that you, yourself don't get spammed... or stalked, you may want to check your profile settings and make sure that your e-mail address is not displayed (or is, if you want it to be), I'm not sure on what the default setting is, so I recommend you all go and check it.
