Wouldn't that, then, just be shit?

See I knew you'd get it.

Q - MrDystopia: Any chance of a Major Spoilers or Critical Hit app?

A - Only if someone is going to build it following our exact specifications.

Sooo...yeah.

As I said and someone else reiterated, this is for my own use.  I've yet to find a good podcast app for my htc desire so i knocked something up that would allow me to listen to the latest MSP or Critical hit within two button presses. They are the podcasts to which I most listen and the app allows me to quickly reach the two other Frogpants ones I listen too.

A disclaimer, or a more obvious one, would have been sensible.  I am not a programmer, not a coder, not a software developer.  I'm a secondary school teacher, so its not fantastic and the bells and whistles have fallen off.  anyone with any actual XP could have done better with two hands tied behind their back.  It's just a simple app I knocked up to see if I could and to fulfil a specific requirement I have. Just thought I'd share it with you all.

I'm an English teacher and some of the books marked 'young adult' are better than the stuff for us old adults.

Except twilight.

That's shit covered shit.

Created it for myself really as it allows me to access the podcasts direct from my phone.  Knocked it up on the app inventor so it's not on the market place.
Thought it might be useful for any Spoilerites with Android devices.

You can access it with the barcode below and I will try and knock up a link somewhere.

It's not for sale or anything and I expect no recompense.  Feel fre to use/delete/ridicule as you like.

Robin Hobbs Assasin Books are good reading.  Sometimes highly predictable but good all the same.

Another excellent episode.  The Clark Lois dynamic is improved by her knowledge of his identity and the doubt he feels is really, finally affecting.  More please!

I think it's getting better and better, we even had Lois coining the term superman.  And the jacket, x men cheesiness aside is part of the move to the front.  Digging it more and more every episode.

Loved the Egypt scenes, loved the Green Arrow stuff.  Deadshot was cool.  All in all Smallville gets better and better.

Quantum Leap.
You could leap into that show at any episode and now the premise from the opening titles.

Bring back QL with Scott and Dean

I'm going to try again and get some love for Smallville going on.

I live in th eUK and 'managed' to catch episode one of season 10 this morning and it was awesome.  We got suit, clones, Green Arrow, Lois knowing the truth, the Helmet of Naboo.

Excellent start to what I'm starting to believe is not just the end of Smallville but the start of something beyond.

The dyanamic between Lois and Clark now she knows his secret is explored well and you get the impression he knows she knows.

And at the end CGI Darkseid?

I'm trainging to be a teacher and in research i've found that for children who having challenges with reading, comics help a lot.  they can associate the words with the pictures and it aids understanding.

Aubreii, how do you read any comics with a new baby? Is that what you do at 3 am while you're waiting for her to go back to sleep?  Smiley
It's actually very healthy to read to your children Grin
Actually I do.  I find my voice soothes her so I read her anything from King Arthur to Spiderman.  I edit out the violence though.

I recently watched First Flight and really discovered an interest in the Green ghCorps.  What has disapointed me is the lack of a nice simple jumping on point inrecent comics.  I really cannot be arsed with Blackest night quite yet.  I want to start slow.

As to how it came about, we really don't know.  We had all our boys names set and picked so it HAD to be a girl.  But she just looked like an Elizabeth.  It's a fairly rare name at the moment, as you say its versatile and pretty.  Pretty name for a pretty little lady.

Ok, Well Elizabeth.

So I think the major comics reference is Betsy Braddock.  X-Man?
