1  Games and Toys / Role Playing Games / Re: Critical Hit races and classes on: May 05, 2013, 02:34:41 PM
My question is when does Critical Hit: the Video Game come out by the BioWare & Rockstar come out?
while I think that playing in the Fey Wild and the regular Universe are swell, I cant wait to venture through the Astral Sea and place my own character in the Kobold Alley side mission.  Bet Tate will defeat the wuss Mighty King Kobra there.

Halloween Candy:
Charleston Chew - as a child
Beer - As an adult.
When I wander the neighborhood with my children, there are two houses that always do a Halloween Party and besides treats have coloring and juice boxes for the kids under a tent I the driveway.  For those that have known them for 30+ years (Not at the 40 mark yet old man Schleicher and Cranky Old Man Peterson) we get beer or other assorted adult beverages.

I'm now taking applications for a new forum best friend.

I'll miss you around here, Navarre!

Since you are taking applications, I would like to put one in for George W.  He doesn't have much to say, but he is a swell guy.

Looks like she raided Vanessa Doofenschmirtzs' wardrobe closet.

Aircraft carrier

Go big, or go back to Cybertron Wink

I made up an aircraft carrier Autobot once when I was in high school. His name was Para Gamma One.

I took my time, figuring out how each piece would fold and everything. He was pretty cool, imo.
Seems like someone is trying to Freudianly overcompensate for something.
7  Games and Toys / Games / Re: Marvel: Avengers Alliance on: February 25, 2013, 04:27:10 PM
Most of the Big avengers Including Captain America, Hulk, Wasp, Iron Man and Tigra are Available.  Some X-Men are Shadowcat, Wolverine, Emma Frost( really kicks Ass), Jean Grey and Gambit and Cyclops.
Other Heroes included are Magik, Cable, Havok, Power Man & Iron Fist, Valkerie (Really kicks Ass)Quicksilver and many others.
The only one unavailable to me is Mockingbird.  She was a speciak acquisition early in the game before I could do the special mission where she was the reward.  Coming soon as PC's are X-23. Magneto & Punisher.

I like it.  I am up to level 122.  Mindless for the most part, but the character rendering, powers and playability work well I think.

Isn't Miss Justice a little old for you Navarre?
11  Comics! / DC / Re: What should I read? on: February 17, 2013, 02:40:19 PM
Presently digging the Phantom Stranger.  Aside from some swell magicy stories, it is broadening an older character without giving everything away.
12  Media / Movies / Re: Comic-book costumes: page to screen on: January 25, 2013, 10:42:33 PM
The Flash costume for the TV series was a nice transition.  Despite Barry being the lead, the series was mostly Wally material.

If you are into Facebook games, I've gotten hooked on "Marvel: Avengers Alliance".  Free to play and has a nice variety of characters to pick from (although it seems like they have more X-Men than Avengers).

Any time someone takes a name from LOTR or another popular property at that time and then tries to "Improve" on the original character.
I have played vs. Pytr Prkyr's and Vayderz and a host of others attempting to improve on the original product but unable to do so largely because the circumstances and roleplay didn't allow for that type of character developement.

CH is swell, and I too miss THAC0.  The episodes and story get better.
Just don't ask about the missing pictures, they get kind of touchy about that.
I think 4e is more accessible than 3 (Hated it).  I do miss some things from AD&D though.
