the return of the quick reviews??

well, the trade paperback section is a bit dead. and with the kind word from our guru of comics (mr schleicher) when i called during the live show, i started thinking that i could start again with my quick reviews. it will be the same as before: irregular, short, bad writing, old stuff, new stuff (mostly independant).

anybody interested? (if not, i might do it anyway, so why do i even bother?    )

I'm also a trade buyer. I would at least read your reviews to get advice. Maybe I'd even write some of my own... in the distant future.

that's a small part of why i stopped. i got a bit more busy so i decided to stop. but things are changing again for me, so i will give it another shot.

Hermit, I would like give you a since of purpose for your reviews.  I don't buy many trades, b/c I usually have the single issues and I don't like doubling up on my books.  But, the reviews that you have done are of books I don't have, and some I haven't ever heard of.  They have led me to look into some of the books and even spend some of my limited comic book cash for them. 

So, I would like to see your reviews again as they helped me expand my collection by finding those diamonds in the rough.

... of course this is going to lead me to spending more money...

yeah, i get that a lot. a few of my friend's girlfriends hates me because i get people to buy more movies or comic books... and i'm happy to do it.

i don't read many books of the big 2, so it's easy to find something nobody ever heard of. and the clerks at my LCS are the best with the indy stuff (and i'm not talking about boom! or dark horse or any of those more known indy distributor).

sorry it take so long before i do my reviews, i have crazy days at work and i,m too tired when i get home to write anything.

but keep watching, my first reviews will be about the ted mckeever library. look in my old reviews, i talked about the first volume.
