Who should be in the New Legion

Stephen, please give your 15, and in the case of Matthew 14, we know Blok will be there.  Rodrigo, I would like to see your list, but I know you are not a fan of hte LSH so if you don't so be it.

ok, keep in mind that I haven't been reading the legion lately so I don't know what any of these characters are up to (or whether they exist currently). But if I was going to make my own legion I'd be these guys:

they'd all be at their youngest incarnations (although I have it on good authority that most of these guys just have one incarnation). I think the power spread is good. Besides fat kid + monsters + hot girls = cash money.

Also, I think Polar Boy and Bouncing Boy should re-envision the Subs as a combination of the Geoff Johns "Dirty Dozen" routine and the old Legion Academy, and utilize great characters like Arm-Fall Off Boy, Double-Header, and others as a rotating cast around the "core team," sort of a like Justice League Task Force.  Need somebody to infiltrate a rogue planet inside a black hole?  Meet the elite squad of Color Kid, Star Boy, Elastic Lad, Andromeda, Antennae Boy and Eyeful Ethel!

Or, maybe not.  Whichever.

For most of 'em I don't really know enought about the differences to specifiy sorry.  Saturn Girl's there becuase of the founders she's my favorite.  Going off some others ideas, try to give some non-human looking ones their due.

I've lost track of just how many re-boots (three-boots? four-boots?) there's been of the Legion, so I think I'll stick to more classic (i.e. pre-1985-Crisis versions) members with my 15. Here goes...

Can't have a Legion without the three founding members, so that'll be Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy & Lightning Lad.

Next, throw in a few of my personal faves...so that's Shrinking Violet, Lightning Lass (as opposed to Light Lass!), Collossal Boy, Chameleon Boy, Element Lad, Ultra Boy, Mon-el & Bouncing Boy. That's 11 so far..

The final 4? Now this is a bit trickier...think I'll have to go for Superboy (the inspiration for the Legion), Sun Boy, Dream Girl & Phantom Girl. I realise that I've left loads of other Legionnaires out, but when you've only got 15 to pick from, it's gonna happen!

hahaha ;_;!  but seriously...

I think my only stipulation would be that Invisible Kid (Lyle) and Brainiac Five be involved since they're my favorites. But even then I really think it depends on the writer and artist team up. I mean, the only reason I like B5 is because he's been very likable and relatable in most versions that I've seen, but sometimes those Querls have very little in common except for their IQ and skin color, so it's more that I happen to like these 3 or 4 different characters who happen to share the same name (sometimes).

 I've learned that my favorite books cannot stand on simply having a picture of the character I like on the page, that character has to move around and talk appropriately and do cool things, characters aren't inherently awesome no matter how much I think they are! it's kind of like basing how much you like a character based on their costume and basic powers, as character traits can switch violently depending on the character or storyline.
