Fate of the Flashes

I saw an ad for JLA #38 that has what appears to be the new team line up. Neither Barry nor Wally appear to be on the team.

I am not reading any of the Flash-related stories. I'm only reading Titans and Teen Titans in DC.

Based on what you know, for those of you who are reading along, what is likely to happen with Barry and Wally? Why wouldn't they be around?

Neither Flash has been in JLA for a while now. Len Wein's entire run, maybe a little before (sorry, I don't have my collection in fromt of me at the moment).

From what I hear, Wally's getting a new costume and will be primarily with The Titans, while Barry will star in the Flash book proper. And JLA is being helmed by the guy who's doing JLA: Cry for Waffles (or Justice, I get thse mixed up), so I suspect the majority of that team will end up in the main JLA book.

Wally's already with the Titans. But from the JLA ad I saw the other day, it looks like the new JLA line up will include Dick, Kory, Donna, and Vic.

So I was getting the feeling that Titans might be canceled. It only leaves Gar, Raven, Roy, and Wally.

Gar and Raven have some kind of thing going in Titans and there are two Titans spotlight issues back-to-back, one with Gar and one with Raven. So I figured whatever happens with them may be connected.

Roy has no place on the JLA if Ollie's around. So I don't know about him.

But I have no idea what's going on with Barry or Wally.

Well, I haven't heard that Titans is being canceled. I'm assuming.

But there is an ad in issue 2 of Blackest Night: Titans captioned "A New Era Begins" and it has the characters I mentioned.

So, I'm wondering...

Aside from what has already been said, am I the only one who cares that Bart Allen is going to be Kid Flash?
