Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World recently wrapped principle photography a few weeks back and is entering the post production stages.

So who has expectations for this movie? I'm actually really looking forward to it.  I'm a huge Scott Pilgrim fan and I really need to get my friends into the books soon so they can say they knew it before it went all main stream.

For anyone that want to see the blogs of the movie's progress, they can find them at scottpilgrimthemovie.com

Edgar Wright directing makes me think it will be good.

The supporting cast all look perfect for their roles, especially Kim and Knives.

But I really don't see Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim.

From what I have seen of Michael Cera, he does not have the skill to pull off this character. Just my opinion.

I think Michael Cera pulls off Scott nicely.  After all Cera actually seems like what Scott would be like: a guy who's 23, but whines about the stupidest stuff like he's still 15.

I'm glad they went with a guy that doesn't have a very tough and gruff exterior and instead chose someone who has a lot of experience playing the awkward slacker. Plus Bryan Lee O'Malley had a hand in picking him out.

But I'll wait till the trailer is out to see how he does.

Maybe...

I agree with the type of actor they were going for. I'm just not sure Cera is the right guy.

But we will see. It is always good to see an actor turn in a surprising performance.

And both 15 year olds and 23 year olds whine a lot, as a generality.

Less slacker and more neurotic perfectionist - at least that's how I'm used to seeing Cera. If O'Malley thinks he's up to the character, then it'll be nice to see Cera do something different.
