Cable and the X-Force are teaming up — in the future! It’s all part of the Messiah War event, and apparently it is so good that Cable #14 completely sold out and is going back to print. Well, that or there was a low initial print run…
In any case Cable #14, the second printing arrives in stores June 10, 2009, with a cover price of $2.99.

It was not only a big step for Scott Summers, but a similarly big step for Marvel to set up X-Force with their own book. Now, four issues in, from my side of the fence, I think their decision has been rewarded by four well done books.
Granted, give me a series on Wolverine and my biases may not necessarily allow me to see clearly.

Marvel Comics has announced Uncanny X-Men #495, X-Force #1, Wolverine #62, and X-Factor #28 have sold out at the distributor level, and the Divided We Stand storyline will be going back to press for another print run.
“I hope people are realizing that this is a new era for the X-Men,” said editor Nick Lowe. “We started the ball rolling with Endangered Species, kicked it into high gear with Messiah CompleX. Now Divided We Stand is showing the effects of both of those and leading to something even bigger. We’re just getting started and it’s a whole new world.”
All four issues will feature variant covers (see them after the jump).
Editor John Barber explained, “It’s great to see everybody—retailers and fans alike—this excited about all the pretty bold move, and it’s a great book. That doesn’t always mean a series will sell so well, but it’s gratifying when it does. Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost put together a powerful story, and Clayton Crain’s art is something to behold. It shows you can take chances with these comics, and people will take a look.”
The second printings all arrive March 19.
