Sunday, May 11th, 2008--by Joshua Hill

LOGAN003CoverPicon.jpg

With the ability to review comics comes a renewed desire to read comics, and I was really looking forward to the conclusion of this story. It’s been an interesting tale that once again put Wolverine, aka, Logan, in to a historical situation. The story is about love found and lost, revenge and seeking a measure of solace.

And it would only work in a Wolverine story, and I think Vaughan knew that as well!

Review: Logan #1

Tuesday, March 11th, 2008--by Joshua Hill

LOGAN001picon.jpg

So often the Wolverine one-shots are a desperate attempt to continue the never ending information drop of Wolverine’s shady past. How did he become Weapon-X, did he have a relationship with Marilyn Munroe, did he date your mother? Rarely does any writer simply stop, and decide to tell a decent unimportant Wolverine story.

Thankfully in this world, we have Brian K. Vaughan.

File Under Rumor: Deadpool in Wolverine Flick?

Monday, February 18th, 2008--by Stephen Schleicher

deadpool.gifAccording to Ain’t It Cool News, Deadpool will be one of the central figures for the Marvel Studios Wolverine movie, and Ryan Reynolds will be playing him.

This one’s supposed to be a secret, but cat’s out of the bag now, Marvel. And I have to say… I think it sounds like fun. I know this has been a character you guys have been developing for years now (hell, I think I pitched a DEADPOOL film back in 2001), and Reynolds is absolutely the right guy for the job.

Other rumors floating around hint that many Marvel villains will be making cameos in the film.

Wolverine Gets May 09 Release Date

Thursday, October 18th, 2007--by Stephen Schleicher

wolverine3_1.jpgTwentieth Century Fox has announced May 1, 2009 will be the release date for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The movie will center around Wolverine’s past with Victor Creed and the Weapon X program as well as his interactions with other mutants.

“Wolverine” is expected to feature many other mutants — some new to the film franchise and some from one or more of the three “X-Men” films. Liev Schreiber is reportedly in final talks to take on the role of a younger version of nemesis William Stryker, played by Brian Cox in “X2.”

Wolverine will shoot in Australia, New Zealand, and New Orleans where Wolverine just might encounter Gambit.
