The older we get the faster time flies, and this week was no exception as we woke up on Monday, and before we knew it Sunday was already upon is. In all the chaos that is our lives, here’s a recap of the week that was.
- The Intardwebz are full of Trolls, and that is just sad
- I hear there is a comic convention taking place in the upcoming week. Good thing we have you covered.
- Harry Potter movie opens, and takes in $100 million world wide in a single day
- The Major Spoilers Crew plus two sat down to record more episodes of the MSP Dungeons and Dragons Crawl
- DC busted out some zombies that are more into hearts than brains
- Not everyone got a Blackest Night promo ring at their LCS this week, and for that we feel sorry for you.
- If you are going to the convention, and plan on taking pictures, we could use your help
- Four words to make your day – Victoria Slave Leia Cosplay
- Victoria may want to learn the Nerd-Slapping Palm Technique as perfected by the Immortal Iron Fist
- Natalie Portman joins the Thor cast
And that was only the tip of the iceberg. What will this week hold. With San Diego Comic Con hitting, expect it to be a super busy week once again.

Another roller coaster of a week in the world of comic books and pop culture, and in between the highs and lows, we did have a moment to reflect on the past.
- Somebody had a birthday!
- The San Diego Comic-Con is just around the corner, and boy are we going to be busy.
- I never thought so many people would be interested in listening to four guys sitting around playing Dungeons & Dragons.
- Victoria joined the Major Spoilers Family.
- Justin Timberlake rumors shook the dust away from the sleepy commenters, but the final announcement that Ryan Reynolds would be playing Green Lantern got everybody talking.
- The Legion of Super Heroes took the spotlight this week, with some fantastic bits popping up in the mix.
- Does anyone care about Megan Fox?
Yes, it was a busy week, that we barely scratched the surface. What will this new week bring? We can’t wait to find out.

Another roller coaster or a week in the world of comic books and pop culture, and in between the highs and lows, we did have a moment to reflect on the past.
- Lots of reviews on new and upcoming series, always get people talking. We even had a lot of commentary from readers who thought the Thor series was ending, even though JMS is only leaving the series.
- Major Spoilers has the inside track to the Comic Arts Conference at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
- Some people get to watch the full director’s cut of Watchmen – many do not.
- Is Wolverine gonna die? Yeah, right.
- The poll of the week asks you to choose your favorite child, and surprisingly no one mentioned their love of cambot.
- Who knew The Major Spoilers Crew could have an intelligent conversation about Tintin?
- Have digital comics finally found their iTunes? Will it be DRM free? Yeah, right.
- Boom! Studios lands the Disney Comics line.
We’re approaching the holiday weekend, which means one thing – something special is coming…

Another busy week at Major Spoilers HQ, but the weekend, did give us a chance to reflect on the things that came to pass.
- Apparently, synchronicity is on our side, as we ended up reviewing all of the issues that appeared in the Major Spoilers Poll of the week.
- There are still plenty of Trolls on the Intardwebz, and they have their sites set on you — the jerk wads.
- Did I mention we had a crap load of reviews this week?
- Still no sign of a new Hero History. And there’s a story behind that one, I’m sure. Still best to get caught up on the archives, as you never know what will happen next.
- Major Spoilers’ own Dante gets a moment in the spotlight, and a possible book if readers are interested.
- The Matthew Challenge deadline is looming, and there’s still a chance for the Major Spoilers Legion to enter and win.
- Thor is confirmed, while Jonah Hex pics appear, yet the news is dwarfed by the number of movie remakes in the works.
- Moving a website to a new server is never a fun experience.
What is in store for us this week? We can’t wait to find out.

A super great week, here at Major Spoilers! Not only did this week see Free Comic Book Day offer up a ton of free comics for fans and n00bs alike, it was also a week where Major Spoilers saw it’s largest month of growth to date!
There were also some other things that happened that you might be aware of:
- Wolverine opened bigger than expected, despite that nasty swine flu, and leaked Intardwebz copy
- There actually is a fourth issue of Legion of 3 Worlds
- There are also titles from companies other than the big two.
- For those that followed all the links in that last one, is there a connection between the link selected for big, and the one used for two? Sounds like a word association game, if you ask me.
- Adam West loves Arby’s
- Mark Waid does an interview, and gets the Intardwebz all abuzz by confirming things we already suspected.
What will this week bring, and will it be better than last? The answer, Dear Reader, is always Yes, at Major Spoilers.
It was a pretty crazy week as the school year begins to wind down, and everyone’s anticipation for the summer convention season begin to kick into high gear.
This week, I learned
- There are lots of comics coming down the pipe this summer from all the publishers.
- It’s time to kick Hitler’s ass.
- There were more reviews this week than any other, and surprisingly, there was no one company favored over another.
- Well, except maybe that double dose review of Detective Comics #853 by Stephen and Matthew.
- Gotham Central really needs to be made into an NBC series to replace Law and Order.
- When you team up with Walgreens, there’s a chance to make a lot of money off of the fan need for geek bric-a-brac
- Plenty of images of the various Corps who are about to get it on.
- And finally, Machete is coming!
Can this week top last week? At Major Spoilers, the answer is always, “Yes!”

This week was an incredibly busy one, but still there were moments that brought new information to the forefront. Here’s our rundown of cool things you may have missed during the week.
