In the holiday rush, you may have forgot to pick up your comics from the store. Or you may not have received them in the mail. In either case, if you didn’t get comics, you missed the second installment of Ultimatum from Marvel.
More hype for the next issue of Ultiimatum, which promises no one is safe in the series that will change the Ultimate Universe Forever!
Guess I missed that bit – must have happened in Ultimate X-Men, because it didn’t happen in Ultimatum #1.
Well poop. I have to wait until December 24th to see what happens in the second installment of Marvel’s Ultimatum.

Everyone else has a crisis, why can’t we?
Ah, the title spanning crisis method of story telling. Marvel perfected the idea of events happening in one series affecting the universe in another. While the Ultimate Universe has had a few cross overs here and there – most notably in the Ultimate Spider-Man titles, this particular corner of the Marvel U, hasn’t had a major shakeup since its inception. Until now…
According to Marvel, Ultimatum #1 changes everything this week! Again? It’s the ultimate disaster movie in comic book form, and it’s coming to the Ultimate universe. Marvel sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the first of five issues featuring Magneto seeking the ultimate revenge.
As the march to Ultimatum continues, Marvel is sending out a seemingly endless number of announcements about the series. At this point, I get it. The kick-ass Ultimate Watchers had me hooked, and the ominous announcements they/it have made guarantee I’ll be reading the series.
But until that day arrives, we’ll continue spreading the word… Like this announcement about a white variant cover to the first issue.
Marvel sent its own Top 5 list to Major Spoilers, letting everyone know why you must read Ultimatum.
I especially like number 1 – FOREVER! (until the next big event). Is anyone else tired of that phrase’s overuse? I also like number 5, as it means no more annoying Mary Jane… or does it? I half expect that to mean everyone will become mutants.
