Hasbro has unveiled the toys inspired by the Spectacular Spider-Man television series, movies, and comic book. It looks like there will be around 50 figures (including villains) released throughout the year. The one I think will be cool is the Remote Control Wallcrawler Spider-Man that uses vacuum-pump technology to let the wall crawler climb the walls.

It’s already been announced that Diamond Select Toys will be unveiling a new quarter-scale action figure line featuring characters from the Star Trek universe, but check out this shot from the DST booth at the American Toy Fair in New York.

Launching this summer, the new Star Trek Ultimate Quarter Scale line will feature detailed cloth outfits and sculpted accessories from the rich Star Trek universe. Each figure will also include authentic voice effects from the Star Trek films and television series. Measuring over eighteen inches tall and containing twenty-one points of articulation, the Star Trek Ultimate Quarter Scale line’s hyper realistic detail and super-poseability combine to create the ultimate in Star Trek collectibles.

My guess is Borg figures are going to be featured heavily in this collection. Now if DST would only release a life size version of these, I could work on my on Star Trek experience like the one in Las Vegas.

The show kicks off tomorrow (Sunday Feb. 17).
