Those attending the Emerald City ComiCon in May, and who love the rambling, shuffling moves of the undead, can get their hands on CS Moore’s latest Walking Dead Torso Statuettes featuring Andrew after he’s been bitten.
“We couldn’t resist doing something cool for the Emerald City ComiCon,” said Clayburn Moore. “This is our first time exhibiting at the show and we wanted to start with a splash, and what better way to do that than creating a unique collectible in the spirit of the ‘emerald city?’”
The emerald variant features a custom green paint job and will be limited to 300 copies, and will set you back a mere $30.00.

Regardless of what people may say or think, I love the Adam Hughes statues Sideshow Collectibles has put out (That White Queen Comiquette is sweet I tells ya, sweet!). Today Sideshow Collectibles announced the next character to get the AH! treatment will be X-Men’s Rouge!
“The Rogue Comiquette! A statue of our favorite ‘Can’t Touch This’ mutie-cutie, but for all you mylar geezers & aging nerdsters who pine, PINE I say, for the classic green latex outfit. If you can remember when Rogue wore this saucy little number, back when she was a freshly-minted good guy, or even before, when she was an evil (but still cute) mutant with two, TWO I say, white stripes in her hair… well, you’re probably old enough to have spilled New Coke on your parachute pants. The Rogue Comiquette is guaranteed to cause 63% less marital strife than the Emma Frost statue.”
Unfortunately, the Comiquette is not quite ready for her public debut, so be sure to keep an eye on future Sideshow Newsletters for updates and the opportunity to place your Pre-Order for this upcoming AH! babe.
Not much to see at the moment, but take the jump and see the sketch the statue is based on.

If you consider 8-inches big, then you’ll be happy to know Dark Horse will be releasing Lenore as a vinyl figure in February 2008.
Named after a sonnet to a dead girl by literary luminary Edgar Allan Poe, Lenore has been celebrated as the it girl for the doom generation since just before the turn of the new millennium. She has been featured in her own best-selling comics and graphic novel series (Slave Labor Graphics), and a line of merchandise, including a Zippo lighter, PVC set, journal, and stationery set all by Dark Horse Deluxe.
The Lenore 8-inch vinyl figure will sell for $24.99.

Diamond Select Toys has announced a brand new six-inch bust of Zombie Spider-Man. It’s not a full body sculpt, but rather just the top half of the undead wall crawler that is sure to give the kiddies nightmares. This is one gruesome looking statue for fans of the Marvel Zombies series.
Sculpted by Rudy Garcia and limited to only 600 pieces, this six-inch bust will be available exclusively through Wizard Entertainments Toyfare magazine. Each bust will also feature a hand-numbered base with matching box and Certificate of Authenticity.
Well, looks like I won’t be getting this one, as it will probably be snatched up as soon as it is made available.

Top Cow Productions and CS Moore Studio have announced a new series of busts based on Seth Green and Hugh Sterbakov’s Freshmen series. The first bust out of the gate will feature the Puppeteer.
The Puppeteer (aka Annalee Rogers) is a beautiful, troubled young woman with the ability to read peoples minds, and control them for minutes at a time. The 1/6 scale, limited edition Puppeteer Bust will be sculpted by Clayburn Moore, and marks the Studios first bust release based on a Top Cow Productions character. A mock-up of the piece was debuted by Moore, Top Cow, and Seth Green during a panel discussion at Comic-Con International: San Diego on Friday, July 27.
Freshmen is a fun series, said Moore in a prepared statement. Im looking forward to working with Top Cow and Seth Green to bring the sexy Puppeteer to statue form.

Long before Conan, Robert E. Howard created Kull of Atlantis (or Kull the Conqueror take your pick). The character wasn’t as well known, so when the Kull tale By This Axe I Rule was rejected by Weird Tales magazine, Howard reworked the character into the super famous Arnold Schwarzennegar Conan. Now Clayburn Moore has created a new statue based on Howard’s Kull of Atlantis.
In an unprecedented deal for a licensed character sculpt, Clayburn Moore was given full creative freedom to design the look of the piece himself by Paradox Entertainment/Conan Properties, owners of the copyrights to Howard’s characters. As a general rule, licensors place strict demands on character merchandise, requiring that licensees adhere to specific imagery or to a specific artist’s rendition of the character. But confidence in Moore’s ability to do justice to Howard’s vision resulted in the unusual arrangement.
The Kull of Atlantis statue will be available for pre-order on July 25, with the expected release date of January 2008. Kull will sell for $249.
More Kull pics after the jump.

Dynamite Entertainment has announced the limited-edition Adam Hughes Red Sonja Statue has been re-solicited. The statue features real gems for the eyes and is limited to 138 pieces. The statue is based on Adam Hughes’ cover to Red Sonja #2 and is 9-inches high.
“In the formula for Red Sonja’s success, of course, are the 4 “C”’s - the character, creators, the concept and the (alternate) covers :-)! In addition to our regular team of Michael Avon Oeming, Mel Rubi, Brian Buchellato and Stephen Sadowski, there have been so many great creators chipping in- Frank Cho, Jim Lee, Roy Thomas, John Romita (Jr. and Sr.), Michael Turner, Marc Silvestri- the list goes on. The cover that Adam Hughes did for the RRP of issue #2 is a great contribution, and we are absolutely ecstatic to be able to bring his work to life. From the Amazons to Zatanna, Adam’s portraits of the women of comics are infallible. And to have the hands of Shawn Nagle produce this piece is something amazing on its own. Shawn has sculpted some of the greatest comic and cinema characters of all time, never missing a single detail. His sculpture of Red Sonja is no exception- Shawn sculpted the She-Devil with a sword masterfully, bringing out every detail of this rare edition. And Adam loved it, which is the highest honor we could get!”
Take the jump for a whole lotta pictures of the statue.
