We’re wrapping up our Statue Appreciation week with a look at the one statue that stirred up all the controversy when it was first released. We’re digging that topic up and presenting it in QuickTime VR for you to take a look and voice your thoughts.
Here’s another fantastic statue from Sideshow Collectibles; this time featuring Emma Frost. The company has created many Emma Frost statues, including a pretty revealing Adam Hughes one. Today however, we’re taking a look at a slightly more tooned up version of Emma, and instead of still images, we’ve got something a little different for you.
The Sideshow Collectibles site was updated over the last week to offer pre-orders for the next statue in the Adam Hughes collection – Mystique. Take the jump for all the pictures, that probably won’t cause as big a controversy as his Mary Jane statue, but will cause a few people to click the buy button.

You’ll want to get your browser warmed up though, there are only 150 of these babies being made.
More pics after the jump.

The polystone statues from Sideshow Collectibles have been really great these last couple of years. I’ve picked up a few by Adam Hughes, and have been extremely pleased with the size, price, and details. The latest polystone diorama features The Punisher and Daredevil going at it.
The latest addition to Sideshow’s line of Marvel collectibles is the Punisher VS Daredevil Diorama. This outstanding diorama is cast in heavy-weight, high-quality polystone, then hand-finished and hand-painted to exacting standards. Each piece is individually hand-numbered, then packaged in a durable foam shipping interior and beautiful full color box. The Punisher VS Daredevil Diorama is the perfect addition to any collector’s display.
The diorama should ship in the second quarter of 2009.

Holy Moley! I thought my Rogue comiquette was huge. Check out the latest statue release from Sideshow Collectibles. This two foot – TWO FOOT – tall statue features the Hulk’s adversary in a pretty dramatic pose that would scare the crap out of my one-year old.
Sideshow doesn’t have a set release date, but it is expected to ship in 2009.
Take the jump for more images, plus the side by side with the Hulk comiquette.
Regardless of what people may say or think, I love the Adam Hughes statues Sideshow Collectibles has put out (That White Queen Comiquette is sweet I tells ya, sweet!). Today Sideshow Collectibles announced the next character to get the AH! treatment will be X-Men’s Rouge!
“The Rogue Comiquette! A statue of our favorite ‘Can’t Touch This’ mutie-cutie, but for all you mylar geezers & aging nerdsters who pine, PINE I say, for the classic green latex outfit. If you can remember when Rogue wore this saucy little number, back when she was a freshly-minted good guy, or even before, when she was an evil (but still cute) mutant with two, TWO I say, white stripes in her hair… well, you’re probably old enough to have spilled New Coke on your parachute pants. The Rogue Comiquette is guaranteed to cause 63% less marital strife than the Emma Frost statue.”
Unfortunately, the Comiquette is not quite ready for her public debut, so be sure to keep an eye on future Sideshow Newsletters for updates and the opportunity to place your Pre-Order for this upcoming AH! babe.
Not much to see at the moment, but take the jump and see the sketch the statue is based on.

Sideshow Collectibles has unveiled its first major announcement from Toy Fair 2008 – G.I. Joe 12-inch figures. Take the jump for the complete press release.
Okay, get your mind out of the gutter. Adam Hughes and Sideshow Collectibles have unveiled their latest collaboration in the form of an awesome Emma Frost statue based on Hughes’ design.
Take the jump for more information and glorious photos! This is a statue you will want to drop your money on.
