It shouldn’t come as any surprise that Marvel has once again announced one of their titles has sold out at the distributor level.  This time is it Dark Reign: The List – X-Men that will feature a variant cover by Alan Davis.  The reprint will arrive on November 11, 2009 with a cover price of $3.99.

Marvel announced issue nine of Dark Avengers series has sold out at the distributor level, prompting the company to send the issue back to press.  Interior artist Mike Deodato also provides the variant cover to the reprint that arrives on November 04, 2009.

Marvel Comics has announced that Ultimate (comics) Avengers #2, featuring Steve Rogers going all ape-crazy has sold out at the distributor level … although copies are probably still available at your local store. Marvel is sending the issue back to press and the second printing, complete with a variant cover by Carlos Pacheco arrives on November 11, 2009.

Marvel’s Ultimate (Comics) Spider-Man #2 has sold out at the distributor level, which means the teenage web slinger is going back to print with the variant cover you see above.  The Brian Michael Bendis penned reprint arrives October 14, 2009 for $3.99.

Marvel announced another sell-out issue in the form of Vengeance of the Moon Knight #1 (although you may still be able to find copies at your local comic shop).  The distributor level sell-out means Marvel is sending the issue back to print, with the variant edition arriving October 28, 2009.

Boom! Studios has announced the second issue of 28 Days Later sold out at the distributor level, immediately after release.  This has prompted the company to send the issue back to press in order to get it in readers’ hand by mid-October.

28 DAYS LATER #2 is written by Michael Alan Nelson with interior art by Declan Shalvey and colors by Nick Filardi, with the first print shipping with two covers in a 50/50 split by Tim Bradstreet and Sean Phillips. A third cover by DNA Films was offered as a 1 in 10 incentive.

Marvel announced that The List – Avengers sold out at the distributor level, and is heading back to press with a variant cover.

Marvel has announced that Strange Tales #1, the first in a three issue mini-series, has sold out at the distributor level, prompting the company to send the issue back to press. Likewise, the Hulk #14, featuring the Rulk seeking revenge on Domino, sold out as well.  Both issues will be getting the variant treatment, that you can see after the jump.

Boom! Studios has to be feeling rather euphoric going into the weekend.  First it was news that the latest issue of Irredeemable sold out in a single day, now the company is letting everyone know that the second issue of its take on the Philip K. Dick Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep story has also sold out at the distributor level.

If you haven’t picked up the first two issues, and you like PKD’s work, then I suggest you get out to your LCS and pick up DADOES as soon as possible. And if your LCS has sold out of its copies, reprints of the second issue can be ordered now, and will be arriving soon.

Fans should keep in mind, while Diamond Comic Distributors is completely sold out of IRREDEEMABLE #6, the first printing may still be available from retailers across the country.

Continuing an upward trajectory, IRREDEEMABLE #6 garnered more orders than even the first issue. Even so, demand for the latest issue has outpaced expectations. BOOM!
