It’s Friday, and our Red Sonja Art Appreciation Moment of the Day week has come to an end. To take us out, it’s a piece by Alvin Lee for the Red Sonja Goes East – One Shot from Dynamite Entertainment. The art is fitting for the story, as Red Sonja takes on a Manga-esque quality.

Our impromptu Red Sonja themed week continues, with this piece by Roy Cover. She’s a bit disproportional in the chest region to really swing a sword, but the hair and face rendering more than makes up for that.

Today’s Red Sonja entry comes from Chris Stevens, and it looks pretty nice. It was done as a commission, which is nice, as we get to see what a particular artist’s take on a character is like, even if the artist has never worked on that title.

Yup, Red Sonja is going to get the star treatment this week, with entries featuring her visage by some great artists from around the world. When I saw this image during my six-degrees experiment, I got a good chuckle from the piece, but then started looking at the line and color work and knew it had to be featured on the site.

I don’t have his last name (or is it his first), as such is the secrecy that is Deviant Art.
