Dynamite Entertainment let us know the four issues of Raise the Dead, the company’s zombie tale, will be collected into a hardcover edition this October.

In Raise the Dead, co-writers Leah Moore and John Reppion have designed a tale of survival and terror in a world being overrun by the walking dead. The oversized hardcover edition contains over 120 pages of story and amazing behind the scenes bonus material, including an introduction by Max (Zombie Survival Guide, World War Z) Brooks, an interview with the Raise the Dead writers, a Hugo Petrus sketch and concept pages, a complete cover gallery featuring the work of Sean Phillips and Arthur Suydam and the complete script to issue #1!

The Raise the Dead hardcover will sell for $19.99.

Dynamite Entertainment has sent Major Spoilers sneak peeks of titles arriving in stores this week. Included in the previews are Red Sonja #24, New Battlestar Galactica #12 (of 12), and Raise the Dead #4 (of 4).

Hi-yo! Dynamite Entertainment has sent us a sneak peek at titles arriving in stores this week. With the recent announcement of Battlestar Galactica ending after the fourth season, and you need to feed your BSG addiction, Dynamite has the hookup with several Battlestar titles.

This week Dynamite has sent us a sneak The Lone Ranger #6, Battlestar Galactica: Cylon Apocalypse #4, Raise the Dead #3, and New Battlestar Galactica #10.

Dynamite Entertainment has announced Savage Tales #1 and Raise the Dead #1 have both sold out. The company has no plans to reprint either issue, but I would check with your local shop to see if there are any copies left.

In a prepared press release Dynamite stated, “Once again, we would like to send our appreciation to the fans and retailers for the support and dedication they have shown for Dynamite. We do our best to provide a quality product in the most fun and interactive way possible, always keeping the fans and retailers in mind through our various contests and message boards. Of course, we also have to send a great big thank you to the creative teams involved with making Savage Tales and Raise the Dead successes. The creative teams for both titles, the writers, artists, colorists and cover artists, really came together to produce over the top stories with “dynamite” artwork!”

Savage Tales is a new anthology series from Dynamite featuring a rotating cast of characters from the savage and brutal worlds of Red Sonja and the Hunter, Cthulhu and the Old Ones, Atlantis and more-all by an array of the industries top creators.

Raise The Dead is an all-new original horror series from writers Leah Moore and John Reppion with art by Dynamite’s latest up and coming artistic sensation Hugo Petrus! Dynamite Entertainment has released cover images and info for issue #3 of Raise the Dead, the company’s zombie series.

In issue #3 our dwindling band of survivors has headed out of the city and straight towards a research facility where they hope to take shelter from the growing undead tide. But what - and who — they will find there is just another horrific chapter in their desperate bid for survival!

Raise the Dead will also feature two covers from two Zombie experts -Arthur (Marvel Zombies, MARVEL ZOMBIES VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS) Suydam AND Sean (Marvel Zombies) Phillips!

Dynamite Entertainment let us know the cover to Raise the Dead #1 will be turned into a poster. The artwork is done by Painter Arthur Suydam, who many of you know from Marvel Zombies and the Marvel Zombies vs. The Army of Darkness.

This image is a great zombie version of a classic moment in Americana. While I’m not sure I’d hang this in my office, I know the guy down the hall will be picking up a couple for gifts. The poster will be available in July for $7.99.
