A while ago, we asked you, the Major Spoilers Elite to cast your vote on which actor played your favorite Doctor. Now months later, it appears as if two of those actors are caught in a tie. We don’t like giving out two first place awards around here, as someone must always be the winner, and someone must always be the loser. If you missed the big announcement, here it is again; Disney bought Marvel Enterprises for $4 Billion. The virtual press conference the companies had earlier today tried to spell everything out, and I particularly like this quote “We believe in the team at Marvel, and see no need to upset the apple cart.”
Well, the apple cart is pretty much upset, as the nerd rampage continues across the Intardwebz, with some people proclaiming this to be the end of all things holy in the House of Ideas. But is it? Is it really? It’s time for you to cast your vote!

We all know everyone is special – a unique snow flake that has no companion (except for the twins). The DC Universe has a bunch of teenagers from the future who use their unique talents to save the universe, while Marvel 616 has a bunch of mutants who band together to save the universe. They are in no way alike – really. Trust us, we’ve got an uber-nerd working on this site, and he’ll tell you.
But even if they were remotely alike, and we could shape the universe to put the Legion of Super-Heroes and the X-Men on a deserted island and let them fight it out in a Battle Royale reality television series, who would come out on top? Would the X-Men win because they have Wolverine, or would it be the Legion because they have a 12th Level Intellect that can figure out the endgame before it happens?
