Hey kids, DC’s Countdown arrived in stores today, and if you live in New York and love love love Paul Dini, you can get your issue signed by heading down to Midtown Comics at its Times Square location (200 West 40th Street) from 5 to 7 PM.
COUNTDOWN will serve as the spine of the DC Universe for a year, with its events sending ripples and shockwaves through the rest of DC’s titles. Issue #51 hits shelves May 9th. The series will count down backwards, one number a week, until issue #0 is published in 2008.

Stalked
It’s no secret I’ve been a Dini fan-boy since he first burst on the scene, and I’ve been babbling like a giddy schoolgirl over his work in Detective Comics. There’s no doubt about it, Paul Dini was born to write Batman. Keeping true to the title, Dini knocks another one out of the park in Detective Comics 822. This time Batman has competition as the best detective in town, when the Riddler hangs out his shingle. Will Batman be second best? Spoilers ahead.
