Is this a sign that Chuck may be permanently deep sixed? The Hollywood Reporter reports that Chuck executive producer Scott Rosenbaum is heading over to ABC to helm the upcoming remake of the V series.
Reevaluating the creative direction of the series, the studio made a change at the helm, switching showrunner responsibilities from executive producer Jeff Bell, who had joined in June, to executive producer Scott Peters, who penned the pilot.
According to the article, Rosenbaum will still be working with the Chuck, so it may not be off the air just yet.
Well, you’ve known that for a while now, haven’t you? The elder Petrelli brother had his throat slit at the end of last season by Sylar, and actor Adrian Pasdar continued to appear on the show as Sylar took on his appearance.
TV Guide has confirmed that Adrian Pasdar has been official released from the show since Nathan was last seen shot and buried in a hole in the ground.
Of course Heroes is supposed to be a super hero show, and we’ve all seen how permanent deaths are in comics.
Doctor Who fans who are saddened that David Tennant ends his tenure this year, might be slightly less depressed after learning Tennant is headed to American television. Tennant is scheduled to make his debut as Rex Alexander in NBC’s hour-long “Rex is Not Your Lawyer”.
“Rex” centers on Rex Alexander (Tennant), a top Chicago litigator who begins suffering panic attacks and takes up coaching clients to represent themselves in court.
This is supposed to be a comedic legal drama for those who are concerned Tenant may not get to goof off a bit in the show.

NBC is already at work on pilots for the upcoming year, and one that just might make the cut is The Cape. Instead of going the Heroes route and taking a look at the super powered beings, The Cape looks at an everyday Joe, who dons a mask to fight crime.
It centers on a former cop framed for a crime he didn’t commit who becomes the Cape, a masked hero, to clear his name and reunite with his son. Set in Jefferson City — a Los Angeles-type city where corrupt private industries are taking over everything.
The Cape is currently in active development. What say you The Legion of Major Spoilers, will a show like this fly, or sink? Shout out in the comment section below, and maybe, just maybe NBC Uni will be take your comments to heart.

To start off this review, I’m going to be perfectly honest with you all: while I have watched every episode of Heroes’ 3+ seasons, bought the graphic novels, and grown attached to a few of the characters, I haven’t been 100% for the show. Like many of you (I’m assuming), I was about to give out on the show halfway through the show’s second season. At the half season break last year, I stopped recording the show. I don’t know. It stopped connecting with me I guess. Despite all this, I stuck with Heroes, more on the principle need to see a superhero show that doesn’t start with “Small” or end with “Ville” succeed. I’ve been there through all the ups and downs, which, to be honest makes the Alps look like a dirt mound. With the series starting up with a kind of “clean slate,” I decided to let go of my past opinions of Heroes, and look at this show with a fresh eye. Hopefully, this season can recapture that same spark from its inaugural season, but only time will tell.
I can’t remember if I watched the end of the last season of Heroes, or if I just let the Tivo delete them on its own. Tonight the two-hour premiere of Heroes hits the NBC network, and I’m wondering how it will do in the ratings. Heroes, which was once the number one show in America, has to contend with the season premieres of House, and Two and a Half Men, as well as that Dancing with the Stars episode featuring Tom DeLay.
Who’s gonna watch tonight? Let your thoughts be heard in the comment section below.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from watching NBC’s Chuck, it’s not that the average joe can become a super secret spy, it’s that the average semi-good looking nerd can land some really hot girlfriends. When not romancing up Yvonne Strahovski, Chuck’s gotten romantic with Rachel Bilson, and now it looks like he’s about to get chummy with Kristin Kreuk.
On the heels of Brandon Routh’s casting as a love interest for Sarah comes word that Smallville vet Kristin Kreuk is joining Chuck for multiple episodes as Hannah, a girl Chuck meets on a flight to Paris. “Chuck and Hannah definitely have feelings for each other,” teases an insider.
I’ve been wondering what Kristen’s been up to since her big movie bit, and this is her first major television job since leaving Smallville a while ago.
NBC has announced it has acquired the rights to DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint “Midnight, Mass.” series to turn it into a television series. Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts will write the series.
“Midnight,” which has received a script commitment with penalty from the network, revolves around Adam and Julia Kadmons, a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband-and-wife team who solve mysteries and crimes of the supernatural.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, this series has been heavily sought after for years to be turned into a television series.

If you were wondering what Ernie Hudson has been doing since HBO’s OZ ended, the answer seemed pretty boring until the announcement that the actor is joining NBC’s Heroes this season. The storyline is being kept under wraps, but we have learned that Hudson will play Captain Lubbock, a Baltimore detective.
The upcoming fourth season of “Heroes” introduces a major new mythology about a traveling carnival of people with special powers run by a charismatic but evil Earth-moving ringleader (Robert Knepper).
And let’s not forget the potential girl loves girl storyline with that Hayden girl.
If you care, NBC’s Heroes will return for a fourth season, and here’s the trailer to prove it.
NBC says there are 4.7 million viewers who watch Merlin each week. Any Major Spoilerites watch this series?
Those that listen to the Major Spoilers Podcast, and hang on our every word, know I’m a huge Rockford Files fan. It’s probably one of the best television series to come out of the 70s and early 80s. Variety is reporting that it has asked House creator and executive producer David Shore to revive the series from the bins and update it for a new age of audiences.
Garner’s Emmy-winning portrayal of the ex-con private eye who lived in a trailer in Malibu (and usually worked as hard to get his clients to pay up as he did on solving cases) turned Jim Rockford into one of the most indelible characters of the smallscreen. Shore said as a fan of the show himself, he’s well aware of how high the bar is set for the remake.
The Rockford Files has been on cable for years, but it wasn’t until the last five or six years that the series finally made it to DVD due to rights issues between actor James Garner. Now that those are cleared up, it looks like we might get to see more Rockford again. Due to Garner’s age, don’t expect to see him in the new series (unless a cameo).
So who will be the new Jim Rockford, Private Eye? As long as Shore doesn’t play the series up for laughs ala Andy Barker P.I. it could be an awesome series. And it’s too bad George Clooney is a movie actor now, as he’d be perfect to step in and fill Jim’s shoes. Or maybe they’ll be able to talk david boreanaz away from Bones
I haven’t watched NBC’ Chuck for about a season or so, but when you rip-off steal pay homage to Big Trouble in Little Trouble, you’ve got my attention.
With all the shakeup going on with the one time hit Heroes, NBC has re-upped Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski as writers for the series. One wonders if they’ll be the ones penning the potential lesbian romance in the show, or if they’ll proceed to lead the mutants those with powers further down the road to telling an interesting story that will capture the magic of the first season. One thing we do know is Pokaski will be replacing Greg Beeman as the producer for the fourth season.

Greg Beeman, the producer/director of the Heroes television series on NBC has been given his walking papers. Beeman doesn’t seem too upset over the announcement.
You see, I will not be returning to HEROES for Season 4. Ultimately this was a financially motivated decision made by NBC. They no longer want to have a Producer/Director position on the show. But it coincides well with my own innate wanderlust, and so, while sad to leave so many friends and comrades, I am excited for the future.
The good news is, he will be continuing his Beeman’s blog with all of his future projects, so here’s hoping we continue to see more high quality images like the one of Hayden above.
