We’ve hit the jackpot with Marvel, finally getting on their advanced previews/review list, which means we have a whole slew of sneak peeks to share of the Marvel titles arriving this week (July 18).

Take the jump for The Order, Super-Villain Team-Up/MODOK’s 11, Thunderbolts: Desperate Measures, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #111, WOLVERINE: ORIGINS ANNUAL #1, WOLVERINE: ORIGINS ANNUAL #1, WORLD WAR HULK: X-MEN #2 , and World War Hulk: Front Line.

Here’s something you don’t see everyday – MODOK and super-villains teaming up to obtain the ultimate weapon. While MODOK may not look like George Clooney, the series could be a fun ride.

“Super-Villain Team Up/M.O.D.O.K’s 11 is something I don’t think the Marvel Universe has ever had: a heist caper,” Van Lente explained. “But of course, since this is the Marvel Universe, our band of B- and Z-list villains aren’t knocking over a bank or a casino– but the impenetrable fortress of an incredibly powerful cabal of temporal cartographers from the end of time to steal a weapon that has the power to destroy all life on Earth as we know it … and which all the other villains in the Marvel U can’t wait to get their hands on.

“It’s almost its own unique genre: ‘supercrime.’

“Plus, of course, I love to give some really underutilized characters like Puma, The Spot, and yes, even M.O.D.O.K., their time to shine, so it’s been a lot of fun for me in that sense as well.”

Marvel has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the series that arrives on July 11.
