For pity’s sake, will you all just leave Henry Jonathan Pym alone! He has been around for close on half a century now and he has never, ever had a fair shake from anyone. We all know and appreciate that Stan’s winning formula was to put all of his heroes through an emotional mill, but Hank seems to be the dog that everyone likes to kick and I’m getting totally sick of it.
The Mighty Avengers and the Thunderbolts meat Riplclaw and the rest of Cyberforce. It all happens next week in Top Cow’s Fusion #1.

or, oh thank the green fields, they FINALLY brought back Nick!
I don’t ask for a lot out of my comic books. In reality, it is pretty simple; non-powered heroes kicking the sh!t out of powered bad and good guys alike. I’m one of those who like the Batman plethora of good guys over, say, Green Lantern or Supes.
So, with my excitement level already built up for Marvel’s Secret Invasion, you can imagine how stoked I finally was to see the return of one of my favorite ever super-heroes; Nick Fury!
That’s right boys and girls, the eye-patched ex-director of S.H.I.E.L.D. is finally back, and he is going to kick some serious ass!
Only one installment of the Marvel Sneak Peek of the Weekend, but boy what a preview! Titles arriving in stores this week are Avengers Classic #5, Captain America #31, Marvel Adventures Avengers #17, Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four #4, Marvel Illustrated Treasure Island #5, Marvel Zombies 2 #1, Marvel Comics Presents #2, Mighty Avengers #5, New Excalibur #24, and Penance: Relentless #2.

There’s been a lot of thought (bubbles) since the Mighty Avengers ran into Ultron, and now after four issues, it’s time to try bring Ultron down for good.

Another haul this week as Marvel released sneak peeks for issues arriving in stores July 25, 2007. Here is part two of the 19 issues Marvel is releasing this week.
Part 2 features Mighty Avengers, Onslaught Reborn, Sensational Spider-Man, and several Silver Surfer issues.
Gotta love that Frank Cho art, and it isn’t too bad in the Mighty Avengers #3. This issue features the return of Ultron, but not the Ultron of old, a brand new female version of the villain.

There’s a unique twist this time around as the mechanized monster is now a girl instead of a guy. Mighty Avengers #2 is written by Brian Michael Bendis with the art done by the incredible Frank Cho.

Marvel has announced Mighty Avengers #1 has sold out at Diamond, prompting the company to go back to press. The new cover features one of the splash pages from artist Frank Cho.
The 2nd printing will be available April 4, 2007.
