The T-shirts, which have been produced in a limited run of only two hundred of each design, will hit retail at The Hundreds’ Los Angeles and San Francisco locations this coming weekend. We mentioned the Dark Knight Motorcycle Suit previously on the site, and the creators let us know that the cut off date to purchase the complete outfit is coming up on October 31, 2009.

“Batman fans recognize that nothing like this has ever been created and we’ve received orders from around the globe,” says David Pea, owner of Universal Designs, which is producing the screen-accurate Dark Knight Motorcycle Suit under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics.

UD Replicas licensed the Dark Knight Motorcycle Suit from Warner Bros. but have limited the number of outfits to 1,000.  And at $1,000 for the complete suit, it’s probably worth it for a crazed fan.

Universal Designs has announced it has acquired a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. to begin production of the Dark Knight Motorcycle suit.  If you’ve ever wanted to impress the ladies while speeding down the highway on your souped up two wheeler, then you will want to check this suit out.  Only 1,000 units are going to be made, so if you wanna be the cool guy in the next bike parade, you better place an order now.  The whole set will only set you back $1,000.

I’ll let you make the “That codpiece looks a little small for me – Har-dee-har-har!” jokes.

Fans at the San Diego Comic-Con were told that more Lantern rings would be on the way, and if Bleeding Cool has the news right, then you might be able to get your hands on all of ‘em if you and your local comic shop are willing to spend some money.

So for every 25 copies of Doom Patrol #4, Booster Gold #26, R.E.B.E.L.S. #10, Outsiders ‘24 and  your retailer orders, they can order a bag of fifty Sinestro rings, Agent Orange rings, Indigo Tribe rings and Star Sapphire rings respectively.

And for every 50 copies of Justice League of America#39, Blackest Night #5 and Adventure Comics #4 sees you with a bag of fifty Red Lantern rings, Green Lantern rings and Blue Lantern rings, also respectively.

Each ring will ship every two weeks, Yellow on November 4th, Orange on November 18th, Red on December 2nd, Green on December 16th, Blue on December 30th (well, December 23rd now, I guess, thanks to Comic Book-Free Day), Indigo on January 13th and Violet on January 27th.

Rich Johnson has a good point about this promotion over the Black Ring event earlier this year in that these issues don’t have high sell rates, which would mean retailers would have to purchase more, just to qualify for the ring order – something they may not be willing to do if the issues don’t sell.

Easy solution?  Buy the book, get the ring. Problem solved.  DC numbers soar through the roof as Green Lantern fans buy books to get the rings, shop owners get more people into the store buying books, so their bottom line rises as well, and the recycling companies get a boost in business, as Green Lantern fans ditch the book they just bought in favor of a piece of non-biodegradeable plastic.

What If? Batman were a young goth school girl and needed a kewl bag to carry her books to and fro? Well, it probably wouldn’t make for a very good comic to begin with, but I would bet this bat-themed backpack would fill that niche for the bat fanatic.

Fans of the HBO vampire series True Blood know that the undead living among us quench their blood lust by drinking an imaginary brew called Tru Blood, a synthetic blood derivative. The show’s popularity has HBO actually making and selling a Tru Blood drink.

  • Meticulously crafted, the Tru Blood Drink is an exact replica of the bottle design as seen on True Blood. The 14oz glass Tru Blood bottle is stained in a rich red, with raised Tru Blood English lettering and matching Japanese Kanji.
  • This blood orange flavored soda is slightly tart, lightly sweet and subtly carbonated. Designed to taste great while matching the appearance of Bill’s favorite drink, the drink pours like a regular soda, but with the standing appearance in a glass is stormy and mysterious.

A four pack of this strange brew will set you back $16.00.

Here’s something every fan of Star Wars and Japanese cuisine will need to add to their gift list – Lightsaber Chopsticks.

Lightsabers merge with Japanese culture and “Chop Sabers” emerge!  Suitable for eating sushi or defending the galaxy, the Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader lightsabers measure over 9” long, with the blades cast in translucent material.  The smaller “children’s size” Yoda saber measures approximately 8” long.  As a special bonus each set includes translucent Star Wars logo chopstick rests.

The utensils will arrive in stores in 2010, but those attending the San Diego Comic-Con and participate in the Chop Saber Duels, will take home a set as a prize.  I’m going to have to get me a pair of these so the next time we’re out eating sushi, I can whip these out and impress all the ladies in the house.  The only thing that would make these totally awesome, if if they would make that “vroom-vwoom” sound when you moved them around.

For those who can’t get enough Tim Burton, Dark Horse Deluxe has announced new products based around his book  The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories.

Springing from Burton’s sketchpads and notebooks, these charming little characters have taken on a life of their own. They are his strange little children, and although some have described them as twisted or odd, as Burton himself has observed: “One person’s craziness is another person’s reality.”

Everyone seemed to really take to our This Bear Reads Comics image posted earlier today, and many asked for a T-Shirt or other product featuring the cute cuddly polar bear that they could snatch up and buy.

Your wish is granted.  We changed the design slightly to ensure we don’t get sued by a certain big comic book company.

The Major Spoilers Merch Store now features the T-Shirt design for men, women, and children.  And unlike the F’Continuity! shirt, you can change the color of these to your liking.

Here’s the breakdown of the Men’s Tee

Product Details

Men’s Heavyweight T-Shirt

This men’s t-shirt has a relaxed but tailored fit. The seamless rib collar with double-needle cover-stitching, shoulder to shoulder taping, double-needle sleeve and bottom hem make it a durable wear. Made from 100% cotton with a fabric weight of 6.1 oz.

Now it is up to you, head over to the Major Spoilers Merch Store (it’s over there on the right column) and purchase some stuff so we can keep this site going a while longer.
