MegaCon - The biggest and best Comic Book, Sci-Fi and Anime convention on the East Coast will be held on February 27th, 28th and March 1st in Hall D at the Orlando Convention Center for MegaCon 2009.

Meet some of your favorite TV and film personalities including Media Guests just added:

  • Beau Bridges – General Hank Landry from Stargate SG
  • Richard Hatch – Apollo/Tom Zarek from Battlestar Galactica
  • Phillip Morris – John Jones from Smallville

MegaCon Announces Guest Lineup

It’s still several months away, but The Orlando MegaCon has released its initial list of guests for the 2009 convention.

Legendary artist George Pérez will be the Special Guest of Honor at MegaCon 2009. In a 30+ year career in comics, George has illustrated Avengers, Fantastic Four, JLA, Wonder Woman, and a host of other seminal comics titles. He is hard at work on his next project from DC Comics, Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds. This will be George’s first scheduled convention appearance in over a year, as he took 2008 off the convention circuit.

MegaCon: The Con in Photos

Major Spoilers reader Matthew Tyndall took a trip down to Orlando this past weekend to hang with the likes of Wonder Woman, Storm Troopers, and Marvel’s Joe Q. Along the way he met some well knowns, some not so well knowns and took a a bunch of pictures to share with other Major Spoilers followers.

Going to MegaCon?

If you are headed to MegaCon this weekend, we want to hear from you! We are looking for attendees who will take hundreds of photographs, or who want to send us a summary of any panels attended. Of course there is no pay, but you will have the appreciation of the hundreds of thousands of Major Spoilers readers who won’t make it to the show, and want to live vicariously through your experiences.
