Show Notes after the Jump!

Each week, on the Major Spoilers Podcast, we take an in-depth look at a trade paperback, giving away all the details of the title selected, and ultimately telling you the listener if you should buy it, check it out from the library, or forget it completely.
Here’s yet another chance for you to be involved in the Major Spoilers experience by voting on one of the following trades we’ll be reading next.

This week on the Major Spoilers Podcast, the crew takes a look at Judd Winick’s Pedro and Me.
Pedro and Me is an autobiographical graphic novel by Judd Winick regarding his friendship with AIDS educator Pedro Zamora after the two met while on the reality television series, The Real World: San Francisco. It was published in September 2000.

Hasbro was kind enough to send Major Spoilers a couple boxes of action figures including some pretty sweet Star Wars figures to give away. And since we just don’t give stuff away without requiring some amount of work, it’s time for another Major Spoilers Contest!
All you have to do is call the Major Spoilers hotline at 785 727-1939 and record your best Yoda impression talking about Major Spoilers. No imitations of Grover, no Miss Piggy, no Fozzie Bear. Just Yoda.
We’re going to give these action figures to the four best callers, so don’t delay, this contest closes March 9, 2010 at 12:00 PM CST.
NOTE: Because of the expense of shipping overseas, this contest is only open to residents of the United States of America. Sorry about that. We do have more contests coming up for everyone world wide.

This episode: Continuing the fight from the previous episode, one wonders if the Big Bad will get away yet again…

Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings Trilogy is set to arrive on Blu-Ray on April 6, 2010. If you think this is complete movie collection, you’d be wrong, as this release is only for the theatrical version of the films, including the documentaries that were released during the first go around.

Show Notes after the Jump!

Last Friday saw the premiere of Smallville: Absolute Justice on the CW. In it, Clark meets with the Justice Society of America (well, Hawkman, Sandman, the Star Spangled Kid, and Star Girl) and viewers got to see the notion of Clark’s team beginning to form their own family.
With all the build up, and the final reveal, the big question for you is, “Did you like it?”
