DC Comics is showing off the cover to Doc Savage #1 by John Cassaday. While nothing new for long time fans of the pulp hero, the torn-shirt hero does look menacing.

Can’t wait for the new Green Hornet: Year One series from Dynamite Entertainment. Not only is it written by Matt Wagner, but is also features this fantastic cover from John Cassaday.
We’ll kick the morning off with the final promo bit from Marvel hyping the coming Fantastic Four #570. This time with the John Cassaday sketch variant.
The twenty-five cent Buck Rogers #0 edition arrives in stores on May 2, 2009, prompting the company to start the publicity early by sending us the cover to the issue.

Dynamite Entertainment has announced it will release a chase cover to The Death Defying Devil #1 by John Romita Sr.
Admired by generations of comic books fans and creators alike, John Romita Sr. is best known for his legendary work on Marvel Comics’ Daredevil and The Amazing Spider-Man from the late 1960’s to early 1970’s. In the 1970’s he served as Marvel Comics’ art director, where he had a major role in defining the look of Marvel Comics and in designing new characters such as Punisher and Wolverine. In 2002 John Romita Sr. was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame. John Romita Sr’s cover for The Death Defying ‘Devil #1 continues Dynamite’s exciting presentation of Project Superpowers expanded universe chase covers by legendary talent; also available is the new Black Terror series with chase covers by George Tuska and John Romita, Sr.
This is a 1 in 15 cover, so you better hope your local comic shop orders plenty for you to get this one.

Marvel Comics has sent us the trailer to the upcoming Astonishing X-Men which find the mutants heading into space to face their biggest challenge. One will not be coming back!

Marvel Comics has sent us a sneak peek of the variant cover to Astonishing X-Men #19. This issue marks the beginning of the end of the Joss Whedon and John Cassaday arc. Each issue of the final arc will feature 50/50 covers by John Cassady, with each cover featuring an iconic shot of a different team member.
