The story may be one that you think you know well. Millionaire playboy industrialist Tony Stark is one of the smartest men on the planet, CEO of Stark International, and in times of need, the golden avenger Iron Man. You ask any comic book reader, even the most casual one, and they can all rattle off at least that much to you and probably still have much more to say besides. Currently, he is featured in several Marvel titles every month and has been a major player practically since the day he was introduced. He has been everything from the brainy hero to the elder statesman to the most hated man in the Marvel Universe, but still the fans want more of him. He has been featured in two popular cartoon series, a direct-to-DVD animated movie and a blockbuster hit film with another one the way. With all that publicity and attention, there is still at least one adventure that the average fan will not even hear about until months after it has been released. That adventure is the prose novel, Iron Man: Femmes Fatales, written by Robert Greenberger and published by Del Rey Books.
Marvel has announced that Deadpool #14 and #15 and Invincible Iron Man #17 have sold out at the distributor level and are headed back to press.
Or so the cover to Invincible Iron Man #20 leads us to believe.
For those that haven’t seen it, here’s the video game trailer for the upcoming Iron Man 2 video game.
Jon Favreau is kickin’ it at the Attack of the Show booth at the San Diego Comic Con, and while there, he’s Twittering a bunch of images.

Once again Invincible Iron Man has sold out at the distributor level (there are probably still copies available at your local comic book store), prompting Marve to send issue #15 back to press.

Here’s a bit of pondering for you as you wait for the next exciting installment of the Major Spoilers Podcast: Who would win in a fight between Iron Man and Iron Fist? Even though Tony Stark is encased head to toe in his Iron Man armor, with ever weapon known to man, the Iron Fist has a fist of iron, that can break and snap nearly anything with his Chi energies?
FIGHT!
It’s Wednesday, which means another roundup of rumors out of Tinsel Town. This week it’s all about Transformers, Iron Man, and Megan Fox. She’s a new Hollywood category now, right?
Check out Michael Cho’s Iron Man piece. Wowza!
Here’s a quick drawing of Iron Man I finished a few nights ago. I drew it up in ink markers, but scanned it into photoshop and added a bit of paper texture. As some of you might know, I doodle Iron Man quite a bit, though not as much lately. But I felt like drawing him again, so took an old sketch from my sketchbook and inked it up to share on this blog.
And by this blog, he means his own Michael Cho’s Sketchbook site.

Marvel has announced Invincible Iron Man #14 has sold out at the distributor level and is going back to press with a variant cover by Salvador Larroca.

There have been some artist renderings of what Mickey Rourke would look like in Iron Man 2, but USA Today got the scope (is it really a scoop if the paper is working with the company to get first access?) and the picture of Rourke in his getup.
This first image of the character shows Whiplash making an appearance at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. Favreau as usual is tight-lipped about plot points and declines to discuss whether the big-screen Whiplash is, as in the Marvel Comics, a weapons designer who works for Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell), a competitor of Tony Stark/Iron Man.
Can not wait for this movie to hit theaters.
