Marvel has announced Hulk #3 has once again sold out (at Diamond) and is going back to press with a second printing.
“Oh. My. Gosh.” writer Jeph Loeb exclaimed, “I’m amazed and so grateful for our continued success — three issues and three sellouts! Ed and I set out to have fun on this title and clearly the retailers and readers are having a blast too! We know that everyone is spoiling for the Red Hulk vs. Green Hulk match-up and this one sets the stage. So, hang on, true believers, the real smashing is still to come! Thanks to everyone, in particular our amazing team of Dex, Jason and Richard who knock themselves out every issue delivering the goods!”
The new printing features a variant cover from Ed McGuinness featuring Red Hulk and Hulk meeting for the first time. The new printing of Hulk #3 arrives in stores May 28, 2008 for $2.99.

Hulk #3 promises to give another big clue to the secret identity of The Red Hulk and features a smack down between Reddy and Rick Jones - a.k.a. Abomination a.ka. A-Bomb.
“For those of you who have been wanting more clues about The Red Hulk, this is a must have issue,” scribe Jeph Loeb enthused, “And it’s got a POW ending that will definitely bring you back for more! I am particularly digging the two covers, one by Ed and other by my Ultimatum pal, Dave Finch. It doesn’t get better than that!”

Marvel Comics has announced the second issue of the Hulk, featuring a smack down between Iron Man and the Red goliath, has sold out at the distributor level and will be going back to print with a variant cover by Ed McGuinness.
“Hulk #2 was a blast!” exclaimed Senior Editor Mark Paniccia. “Red Hulk Vs. Iron Man! The destruction of the red and gold Hellicarrier! The New Abomination revealed! It’s a superhero sugar rush! Kudos to Jeph, Ed, Dex and Jason delivering another sold-out hit! Wait ‘till the fans see the next round of knuckle busting. In Hulk #3, New Abomination and Red Hulk go into the ring against each other!”
Oh yeah, that Rick Jones things really surprised a lot of people. Issue #3 ramps up the action, and Marvel has sent us the wrap around cover for the issue #2 reprint, and the cover to issue #3 featuring the Red Hulk and Abomination practicing their wrestling moves.

In what appears to be a major attempt to build hype for the new Hulk title, USA Today and Marvel have teamed up for an exclusive 10 page preview of Hulk #2 that arrives in stores Wednesday.

Hasbro has announced its Hulk toys and products for the Spring 2008 that tie in to the upcoming movie and comic book from Marvel.
Good news for those who are hoping for the House of Ideas to come through with movie continuity. According to actor William Hurt let slip he has a seen with Iron Man in the upcoming Hulk redo.
“I don’t know how it’ll work,” Hurt admitted, saying it was a thrill to appear as General Thaddeus Ross during Downey’s scene. “I know it’s weird [to work with a character from another movie], and to know it’s a device. We did something; I don’t know what that’s going to be like [to watch].”
I’m all for making sure we are on our way to the culminating Avengers movie, featuring all the title characters from the in progress films, let’s just hope actors are still available in eight years for the film, or things are going to be a little weird.

There are a lot of what ifs that float through my head every day some are quite funny, while others are disturbing, and some don’t have anything to do with comics at all.
Marvel’s What If? series returns asking not one question, but three, “what if the Hulk had arrived at the intended destination of the Illuminati?”, “What if Hulk died and his wife instead led the army against Earth?”, and “What if Banner, not the Hulk, landed on Sakaar?”
That’s right true believers, this issue contains three stories for your reading pleasure, and Marvel has sent a sneak peek of What If? Planet Hulk for your perusal.

You know those guys that hang out on Hollywood Boulevard in superhero costumes so you can take pictures? Turns out there is a documentary about them, directed by Matt Ogens.
Pic chronicles the alternately poignant and amusing paths of the struggling actors who pay the bills by playing superheroes on Hollywood Boulevard. Central characters are Batman, Superman, the Hulk and Wonder Woman.

Now there’s a crossover you probably didn’t expect to see…
The film will screen at AFI in October.
