JOSHUA HAGLER, who is mainly recognized for his energetic large-scale oil paintings, brings his other passion to the gallery–comic books. Winner of the coveted Xeric Grant, Hagler’s comic book series The Boy Who Made Silence is set to begin publication with UK-based publisher AAM/Markosia this spring. Coinciding with the release of Book One in the series, a.Muse Gallery will be presenting the original pages, drawings, paintings, sketches, and writings that show up on the printed page or were used in the planning stages.

I’m a big fan of Wes Molebash and his webcomic You’ll Have That, so I’m more than happy to pass along information about a gallery showing of his work.
