Or – “The Lady Or The Tiger? Sometimes You Get Both…”
The Iron Fist may have been the first of the Immortal Weapons to show his face, but he’s certainly not the last. What’s even more amazing is that each of their stories has been as interesting as Danny Rand’s. Fat Cobra’s tragedy, the Bride of Nine Spiders’ horror, even Dog Brother #1’s folk tale have all been interesting in their own right. Now the spotlight turns to the beautiful, yet deadly, Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter… Will the loveliest of the Immortal Weapons keep the streak going?
This issue: The adventures of those holed up in the Keep continues, this week. Will Dungeon Master Rodrigo achieve a TPK (Total Party Kill), or will the four adventurers defeat their enemy?

Or – “More Morrison Madness Through A Glass, Darkly?”
Many attempts have been made to make the DC Universe more “international,” from the Global Guardians waaaay back in Superfriends, to Doctor Mist and the Dome to taking the Justice League International, but most have been about as realistically multicultural as the International House of Pancakes (home of the Frawnch Toast Stix.) In 52, though, Grant Morrison introduced China’s national super-team, The Great Ten, who have bee in the background of the DCU every since. Now, these heroes take the center stage, and get a chance to prove that they’re more than just interesting concepts and funny names…

If you’ve followed Major Spoilers for any length of time you know two things; 1) I’m a big Doc Savage fan, and 2) I’m a bigger Batman fan. This particular RFR was meant to go up last week, just in time for the annual festival of half-price chocolate, but various things conspired to keep me from completing it until today. For those of you who can’t get enough comic review goodness, I’ve got the cowbell to slake your fever, and it’s time to ask ourselves, baby, what’s the word? In the words of the great philosopher Aloysius Bundy: “Let’s ROCK.”

This week, the duo of Stephen Schleicher and Matthew Peterson crack the cover of the latest Buffy, the Vampire Slayer issue, that not only brings an end to the five issue story arc, but quite possibly the end of all those other vampire slayers as well. Take the jump to see what our charming duo have to say about this issue in this week’s installment of Dueling Reviews.
Through my many years of watching films, I have come discovered that some movies are synonymous certain genres. When you think “Mob movie,” The Godfather usually comes to mind. If the term “Science Fiction” or “Space Opera” is mentioned, one might have visions of light-sabers or Vulcans run through their head. And when someone says “Horror-Comedy,” the first film though of is The Toxic Avenger. Ahh yes, The Toxic Avenger. Not only is this film extremely entertaining, it is a pinnacle of independent film making and single-handedly shaped the direction of an entire movie studio, as well as influenced countless films. But we’ll address that after the jump. So douse yourself with some toxic waste and follow me!
A serial killer is on the loose, one that hunts in public places and leaves no survivors, until now. Federal Agent O’Roark has been tracking the killer, but now he has become a victim, and one of two survivors. Forget about the full moon, Agent O’Roark’s life has just gotten hairy.
