“World’s Finest” is an unique project. It’s a trailer for a Superman/Batman crossover movie that doesn’t exists and will also never exists, at least not in this form, with these characters, actors and plot line anyway.

I really don’t have a problem with fan films, unless they are done with no regard to storytelling, the effects are lame, and basic concepts of composition, lighting, and sound are thrown out the window.  Any guesses on my thoughts on this piece?

This should put an end to all those Mac vs. PC debates.  Pretty cool short film, lots of special effects, and a Mac and a PC fighting it out.

In case you were wondering, the Major Spoilers HQ utilizes three PCs and three Macs.

We’ve some really amazing fan films, but this one goes way over the top.  The people at WormyT have spent a great deal of time culling clips from some great action films (Hugh Jackman from X-Men for example), and cat-ized each clip with a bunch of rotoscoping and CGI enhancements.  The result?  I pretty believable Thundercats trailer that will probably get the Interweb Nets all a twitter over the next couple of weeks over the possibility of a real Thundercats movie.

The final episode of Captain Blasto has arrived!

The episodic video web series comes to a close as Captain Blasto is forced to stop the crooked crooks he recruited when their bogus burglaries become real.

This YouTube video is making the rounds on the Intrawebs, and while I likes me some fan films, I only like those that are really well done, and approach the subject as that – a film by fans who understand film making.  This Flash trailer has cheesy effects, and the graphic logo is sub-par at best.  In short, if you believe this is the real deal, then I have a Shazam! movie, I’d like you to watch.

Defamer has the best wrap up.

Until then, why not leave the filmmaking to the professionals and quit trying to set off the Web with dorm-room exercises masquerading as official teasers? Your mastery of Windows MovieMaker is impressive, but seriously, enough.

Because it is a slow, slow, day, here is The Simpson’s show open done in LEGO.
