One of the first female comic book creators, Ramona Fradon, finally gets her own art book, the “dynamic” way.
Long time fans of Metamorpho, Aquaman , Aqualad, Plastic Man, The Fantastic Four and Super Friends are quite familiar with the work of legendary artist, Ramona Fradon, but not until now will they know the whole story of Ramona’s incredible career in comics, as Dynamic Forces is pleased to announce the upcoming Ramona Fradon Retrospective.
For the first time ever the DEFINITIVE retrospective of Ramona Fradon’s 45 year career will be presented in The Ramona Fradon Storyteller Book. The Ramona Fradon Storyteller Book will be a hardcover book with over 200 full-color pages to highlight the magnificent career of artistic legend, plus never-before-seen sketches and character designs.
Star Trek fans listen up! Dynamic Forces will appear on QVC beginning May 18th at 1:00 AM ET to sell its limited edition Star Trek merchandise.
During the broadcast, collectibles from the new movie will be offered, including a special Collectors Lobby Card from the film, which has been autographed by actor Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty in the new movie. Additional Star Trek products and collectibles will range from rare comics to unique collectibles, including phasers, tricorders, DVDs and trading cards from Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Limited edition Star Trek merchandise, including signed lithographs and a brand new Giclee autographed by Pegg, will also be offered.
I don’t know if I’m that much of a Star Trek fan to be up at 1:00 AM to watch Star Trek merch being sold, but I know all of the stuff Dynamic Forces is selling will go like hotcakes.
It’s the 90s all over again kiddies, with variant covers coming fast and furious for titles and reprints. The latest variant comes from Dynamic Forces and Marvel for next week’s Secret Invasion #1 by Mel Rubi.
Comic fans old and new know Mel Rubi’s art from the immense variety of titles and characters that he has drawn for the past two decades. Mel’s countless credits include hit Marvel titles such as Uncanny X-Men, Excalibur and Wolverine, as well as Image titles Grifter, Stormwatch and Deathblow, and for Dark Horse, Star Wars: The Bounty Hunters – Scoundrel’s Wages. Most recently, Mel completed the smash hit crossover series, Spider-Man / Red Sonja.
Looks like there are other variants on the way from Dynamic Forces, and we’ll keep you posted on that… no really, we will.
Dynamic Forces has released its list of Marvel signed and limited edition comics shipping in October. Included in the list is Ed Brubaker’s signed Daredevil Annual #1 and John Romita, Jr.’s signature on World War Hulk #5.

DF is kicking off the second half of their summer selection of signed DC titles with Justice writer Jim Krueger and a double dose of Alex Ross! We all know it’s no simple task for Alex to bring the wonderful worlds of comic books to life the way he does; and that’s why it’s so impressive that he’s always ready to take time out and sign his work for the fans! Dynamic Forces has announced a huge selection of signed and limited edition Marvel comics coming our way this summer, including The Last Fantastic Four Story signed by Stan Lee himself.

The Hero Initiative will be hitting WWP this weekend, with booth guests including Arthur Suydam, Tom Raney, and Scott Hanna. Hero Initiative will be set up in booth #1214.
Nick Barrucci of Dynamic Forces states, “We’ve always been a big supporter of The Hero Initiative. Their organization provides a chance for all of us to be a hero and give back to the comic book creators that have given us with so many great memories! There’s going to be some great Dynamite items offered at The Hero Initiative booth this weekend, and we hope you’ll offer your support!”
The Hero Initiative is a federally funded nonprofit corporation set up to help comic book creators in need.
If you are a fan of getting signed editions of your comics without having to spend a lot of time and money standing in lines at cons, then you have probably lusted after Dynamic Forces exclusives. The company has released a huge list of signed and limited Marvel Comics that ship this summer.
DC’s Countdown series is just around the corner, and Dynamic Forces has announced it will offer an exclusive signed edition by cover inker Tim Townsend.
The issue will ship in May, but pre-orders are being taken now.
Dynamic Forces announced it is taking preorders for The Original Encyclopedia of Comic Book Heroes Volume 1 signed by artist Neal Adams.
Originally published in 1976, this exhaustive volume – the first in a series – includes every piece of information you could want to know about Batman, his allies and enemies, weapons in his war on crime, and his adventures across the decades!
I’ve purchased a few signed Dynamic Forces issues, and have been genuinely pleased with the results (signed Batman/Spirit – WOOT!).
The title will ship in June.
