Jon, from Double Dumbass On You.com attended Wizard World Philly this past weekend, and ran into any number of Skrulls running around the show floor. If there was this much Skrull cosplay on the show floor this year, I can’t wait until Marvel Apes hits store shelves.
Take the jump for Jon’s complete report and a better look at ol’ green chin.
Here is something a little odd, cosplayer Usagi Tsukimiya posing with a Hobby Wave Haruhi Suzumiya cosplaying as a bunny. It boggles the mind…

Because of the downtime the site experienced over the weekend, I’m extending the entries for the Major Spoilers Costume Contest until Wednesday 11:30PM. We have between 14 and 20 entries, and would like to get more. On Thursday, we’ll post all the entries and the top three for you to vote on. The winner will now be announced on November 1.
If this trailer doesn’t make you want to see this film, then perhaps it will get you to at least dress up in a costume and enter a certain contest on this site (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
Seriously, I met these guys at San Diego a couple of years ago, and as weird as they may be, I still have to give them credit for trying their damnedest to make something of their lives.

Just a reminder to get your entries in for the Major Spoilers Costume Contest. I created the contest hoping to be flooded with entries, but have only received one as of today. If you are planning to enter, please do! The deadline for entries is October 21st.
Remember the grand prize is th Absolute Batman: The Long Halloween.

Just a reminder for you to get your entry in for the Major Spoilers Costume Contest. The winner receives the DC Absolute: Batman: The Long Halloween.

You know those guys that hang out on Hollywood Boulevard in superhero costumes so you can take pictures? Turns out there is a documentary about them, directed by Matt Ogens.
Pic chronicles the alternately poignant and amusing paths of the struggling actors who pay the bills by playing superheroes on Hollywood Boulevard. Central characters are Batman, Superman, the Hulk and Wonder Woman.

Now there’s a crossover you probably didn’t expect to see…
The film will screen at AFI in October.

Halloween is one of our favorite holidays at Major Spoilers, and we’re hoping you’ll celebrate with us, with our very first contest! We want you - yes you - to send us pictures of your bad self dressed up as your favorite comic book hero. The best costume will not only be hailed as the Grand Prize Winner in Major Spoilers’ Costume Contest you’ll also win DC’s Absolute Batman: The Long Halloween (a $75 value).

Here’s what you have to do:
Send three to four pictures (different poses/angles) of yourself in your favorite superhero costume (plus one sans costume) to us by October 21, 2007. Make sure you include your name, address, and the character you are supposed to be (please, no made up characters). The Major Spoilers crew, will narrow the list to five contestants (oh lord, let us have more than five entries), and readers will then vote on their favorite. The winner will be announced October 31st.
Send your pictures to contest@majorspoilers.com
It’s our first contest, so please make it a good one! Let’s see your creativity and talent in action!

Project: Rooftop is now accepting entries for the second annual costume contest: Fights, Flights & Tights 2.
Pretty easy to enter, make your costume, take several pics, get them to the company before October 21st. The best entries get featured on the site, and the winner will receive an original sketch of their design by Dean Trippe.
Sounds cool to me, and gives me an idea or two for something here at Major Spoilers.
More info can be found at the Project: Rooftop site.

You have until Oct. 22 to submit your photos. More information can be found at www.marvel.com/costumecontest/.
I don’t cosplay for a reason - I don’t got the build for spandex,, although if you’ve seen me lately, I could probably pull of that late 50s, early 60s Lex Luthor look. That doesn’t stop all sorts of people from joining in the fun.

I never knew sneakers, berks and shorts were part of the official Starfleet uniform.
Do you cosplay? Send us pics of yourself all dolled up - I may have a contest forming.
