Marvel sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of X-Men: A Girl Named Hope by Christopher Yost and Duane Swierczynski. According to the company, it kicks off the most shocking change to the X-Men you can imagine. AGAIN!

Rob Liefeld got all Twittery last night, spreading news and information about upcoming movie projects which may or may not feature Cable.
“Great Deadpool movie meeting! Lauren Schuler Donner and her team are headed in the right direction!”
“Deadpool movie checklist- DP in costume-check! Breaking 4th wall-check! Loads of killing-double check!”
“Deadpool movie- YES! Ryan Reynolds\ is on board!!!”
“Also excited to discuss possibilities of Cable in future X-films!!!”
Yeah, Cable in the next X-franchise film should be interesting, although I’m more interested in seeing X-Men: First Class first.

Cable and the X-Force are teaming up — in the future! It’s all part of the Messiah War event, and apparently it is so good that Cable #14 completely sold out and is going back to print. Well, that or there was a low initial print run…
In any case Cable #14, the second printing arrives in stores June 10, 2009, with a cover price of $2.99.
Stryfe captured Hope, but just because Cable’s been separated from the Mutant Messiah, doesn’t mean he’s about to give up! Time is running out for the X-Force – can they find their way out of a deadly trap before it’s too late?

Marvel has announced Cable #13 and Deadpool #9 have both sold out at the distributor level and are going back to press with a second printing. Interestingly, both titles feature Deadpool. Coincidence, or is there a Wolverine movie coming out in less than a month that features the character?

Gotta love time travel stories, and the current Cable saga is no exception as Bishop and Cable battle for the fate of the new mutant child. Marvel has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek of the issue that arrives April 2, 2008.

According to Axel Alonso, Cable is the only thing that can save the future of mutant kind.
“Cable is a core thread of the second stage of the war that began in Messiah CompleX — a battle for nothing less than the future of mutantkind,” says X-Men Group Editor Axel Alonso. “At the heart of the story: two battle-tested men, driven by deep conviction and prepared to do anything to complete their objective — including calling on help from old friends. So make no mistake: The war over the future of mutantkind will be fought in the future — in the pages of Cable– and when it is finally over, who knows what will return to the present.”
Marvel has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek at the ongoing series, that has a baby strapped to Cable, right in the place most people are going to be aiming at. Good parenting there Cable.
