Twilight fans are nothing compared to the throngs of people who flock to every panel appearance by B-movie actor Bruce Campbell. He’s there again getting the crowds to eat out of his hands, and on the Burn Notice panel, a bit of news was dropped that may have fans flocking to the DVD section of their local store.
According to network insiders, USA is talking with Fox, which makes the series, about producing a straight-to-DVD prequel that would cover Axe’s adventures before his attempts to help his best friend, blacklisted spy Michael Westen.
The panelists also said they have been thinking about a Burn Notice movie, but Campbell reassured the crowd that the film wouldn’t rely on heavy CGI explosions.

One of my favorite shows on television right now is USA Networks Burn Notice staring Jeffry Donovan and some guy named Bruce Campbell I hear all the Comic-Con fans are wild about. The network is planning on hosting a panel featuring Campbell, as the company gives attendees a glimpse behind the show. Also featured will be the debut of the network’s new show Psych.
Are you psyched? Take the jump to read all the glorious info. And be nice to Bruce Campbell at the show. Working all day in Miami surrounded by the loverly ladies has got to takes its toll on an actor.

For the last two years, I’ve heard the rumors and have seen the still images from Bruce Campbell’s feature film My Name is Bruce. And while it looks like the movie is finally going to make it to the indie movie circuit, there are still a lot of questions that fans are asking about the film. Some of those questions are answered in Dark Horse Comics’ release of the My Name is Bruce one-shot from a couple of weeks ago.

Here are the bullet points from today’s Dark Horse Comics Panel. Hey, we can’t just cover DC and Marvel now, can we?
Tell me you aren’t a little interested in seeing Bruce Campbell dressed as an angel in My Name is Bruce.

Oh please, oh please get this movie to my DVD player soon as I know my local movie theater will never show this flick.
Bruce Campbell is the man-god I would love to place in a leading role in my ever evolving screenplay. Bruce’s biggest problem, as he has already written about, is he is not Ash. But what would happen if a small town in Oregon, plagued by real monsters, mistake the B-movie actor for his on screen counter part?
That’s the premise behind My Name is Bruce, a Dark Horse Indie movie set to release in 2007. Dark Horse Entertainment has posted a publicity photo of the man himself on their website.
