While there have been a couple of attempts to tell a Dr. Horrible origin story, the official take on the villain’s past can only be found in the pages of Dr. Horrible #1 from Dark Horse Comics.

Patrick McGoohan Passes at 80

Patrick McGoohan, best known for his portrayal as Number Six in the television series The Prisoner, has passed away at the age of 80. No word on the cause of death, except reports of a short illness.

he was best known as the title character Number Six in “The Prisoner,” a surreal 1960s British series in which a former spy is held captive in a small village and constantly tries to escape.

The news comes as the new Prisoner series is set to debut this year.

Sad day.

The Prisoner is probably my all-time favorite television show. It was brilliant and McGoohan was brilliant on it.

I hope the new show does the original, some justice…

Sad news.
It was a groundbreaking show.
If you EVER get chance to visit Portmerion, where the prisoner was filmed, go.
It is the most beautiful yet surreal place ever.
