I fell in love with Skottie Young’s art styling a while ago, so when I saw he was working on Marvel’s take on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, I had to pick up a copy. Issue #2 arrives next week, and Marvel has provided Major Spoilers with a sneak peek where readers discover the origins of the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman.

That $3.99 price tag kills me. It means I’ll be scoring the back issues in either an Ebay auction or an online retailer.

The art is great no doubt, but damn… thats some pretty BAD writing going on there….
I got the first issue with the same plan as Josh
But the trade WILL be awesome
And although the writing IS pretty bad, I think this trade will be in elementary schools across the nation for decades to come.
