Isn’t that Thundra?
Happy 2009 guys and thanks for the great show. She looks like she having some bad PMS.
Odds are this has something to do with Loeb’s Hulk, rather than a new She-Hulk series. Thundra is playing pretty heavily into the Red Hulk’s story, after all.
That was Thundra, yeap.
Another example of mid-70’s Marvel characters returning to the forefront, ala Power Man, Iron Fist, Star-Lord, Nova, Wonder Man (sorta), Jocasta, the 3-D Man, Machine Man, the Valkyrie, She-Hulk, etc.
Next up: Jeff Loeb writes and Frank Cho draws the awesome return of…
COMANCHE AND SHADES!!!!!
Matthew brings something up that I was thinking about around the end of Secret Invasion. Bendis brought Wonder Man back for the Mighty Avengers and has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with him. It could have been any generic strong man. Man… Mighty has really sucked so far.
This would leave me to believe in the theory that Planet Hulk aftereffects are following him here.
Red Hulk = Overthrown Red King, somehow irradiated with the Hulk energy/blast that leveled the city
Thundra = the new Old Strong?
Actually, that is Thundra & Hulk’s *daughter* from the “Raging Thunder” & “Hulk: Family” one shots. She’s been raised in Thundra’s future and took over as leader of her army.
Thundra appeared in some Hulk one-shot which ended with her having Hulk’s kid (IIRC it was from his stolen genes or something, I only read it in the store). Presumably, this is their daughter.
@ DrStrangeCubicle
Considering that Thundra just made a deal with Rulk, I’d say it’s pretty unlikely that image is anyone but Thundra herself.
